WHO WE ARE

WHAT WE DO

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Micran is Russia’s leading manufacturer of radio electronic equipment, transform-ing today’s radio experience through innovations in the field of telecom, radars, test & measurement, MMICs, FR & MW Sources and MW Accessories. Micran de-livers innovative and reliable solutions in accordance with international world stan-dards. The company’s nearly 1600 employees serve customers in more than 50 countries all over the world, and our sales geography grows every year. GAME IS NOT OVER

• high capacity using high modulation feature, wide channels, radio traffic aggregation with load balancing

• radio protection feature up to 4+2

• full range adaptive modulation

• interface and network protection

• synchronization distribution

• centralized full-featured NMS

The game is not over yet for microwave PtP networks of mobile operators. The network configuration changes quickly, sometimes intentionally, sometimes unex-pectedly. Introduction of higher frequencies for 3G and LTE plus lower system gain lead to more dense site locations. The fiber is not so flexible, and can not be ev-erywhere. Sometimes it is impossible to construct a fiber line at all. So, still more than 50% of all new sites are connected via microwave.

Understanding this permanent demand for microwave equipment, Micran contin-ues to develop excellent products for mobile operators.

Our equipment can integrate seamlessly with Legacy (pure TDM), Hybrid (TDM+IP) and Packet (full IP) networks.

We offer solutions for each carrier network’s segment: Aggregation level, Access level, fixed and nomadic access, trunk lines, nLOS equipment for long distances.

OUR EQUIPMENT SUPPORTS ALL NECESSARY FUNCTIONALITIES:

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Works even in extreme climatic conditionsThe “full indoor” equipment creates multi-channel (up to 4 or more trunks) radio re-lay links with increased reliability and stability in regions with harsh weather condi-tions and arctic climate. The equipment is located inside heated premises, provid-ing comfortable conditions for equipment maintenance.

Maximum reliability and stabilityY-Trunk was developed by experienced specialists to create trunk multi-channel radio links with maximum reliability and stability for the transfer of hybrid traffic at speed up to 450 Mbps in each trunk.

Maximum power of radio linkIn full indoor configuration, additional power amplifiers and low-noise amplifi-ers are used. That allows you to get up to 8 dB power gain. The trunk multiplexer makes it possible to combine several barrels with minimal losses (from 3 dB) for an efficient work on one waveguide.

Reliable and secure network monitoringThe Micran company presents its updated software “Master M”. The special soft-ware allows to receive the segmenting and reservation of control channels, in-creasing the data transmission speed and failure safety of the control network.

Minimum initial costsThe compact “split” configuration with the “top” mounting of the transmit-receiver allows to minimize the initial costs of creating a network and has no fear of severe climate of northern regions.

Transparent transmission of each trafficThe in-built stream switch allows to create up to 4 group flows from 4xGE, synchro-nous (up to 4xSTM-1) and plesiochronous (up to 96xE1) traffic in any combination, which are flexibly distributed by the reservation system between the active trunks of the relay station, according to the established reservation and priority type.

Reliable monitoring and secure management“Master M” is a special software that is made according to the client/server archi-tecture. The “Master M” software allows to segment and to reserve control chan-nels, increasing the speed of hardware parameter interrogation and the fault toler-ance of control network.

It provides TDM and Ethernet data transmitting over incredible long-range distances, supporting up to 29 Mbps of aggregate data traffic. Y-Haul operates over long hops even in nLOS conditions. Compared with dish antennas, Y-Haul’s antennas are very light weight and have almost no wind load.

There are two modes available: FDD and TDD. Y-Haul FDD can transport any mix of E1 and Ethernet, while Y-Haul TDD is pure Ethernet. Y-Haul FDD can be config-ured for 1+0 non-protected, 2+0 non-protected, 1+1 protected and 1+1 (for critical) / 2+0 (for best effort) modes.
