Service Overview current state of the signaling network
How well each link is being utilized
if additional links to the customers STPs are currently required
under current scenarios, when to add links and/or re-evaluate link requirements using Tekelecs growth projection option
Service Description This Service obtains network-operating data from the customers signal transfer points (STPs) to determine the network configuration and validate the network busy day and busy hour. it then obtains detail busy-hour link data and performs a network capacity analysis to determine at what levels the links and network are performing in the busy hour.
As an option, it can be extended to include additional busy-hour measurements so a network traffic history can be built and one-year network growth projections can be calculated based on historical data.
Deliverables for This Service Include: A comprehensive report
One customer presentation, demonstrating the highlights of the network capacity analysis
Analysis that includes the network configuration data, link capacity calculations, link capacity analysis, capacity graphs, raw link and network data, and parsed data

Service Overview Breaks down signaling traffic by service type
calculates the signaling traffic by type within the customers network busy hour
Predicts the impact of signaling traffic, by traffic type, on the current signaling network
Predicts the impact of signaling traffic growth on the planned network (12-month planning horizon)
Service Description This Network Growth Analysis service acquires available signaling traffic data as described by the network capacity analysis service. With assistance from the customers subject matter experts, a set of traffic profiles for current services is developed. Each traffic profile is used in developing a series of traffic generation models (maximum of 10) that are used in predicting current and future signaling network traffic. This service also defines node and link models (maximum of 10) to be used in conjunction with the traffic generation models.
utilizing existing and/or recently obtained data, along with the customer-specific models defined above, the service calculates the traffic levels by type and location for the network busy hour. it also takes the current customer network plan (12-month horizon), applies the models and traffic as appropriate, and calculates the levels of traffic by type and location for the network busy hour for the planned network.
Deliverables for This Service Include: A comprehensive network growth analysis report
One customer presentation, demonstrating the highlights of the network growth analysis report
complete analysis, including network configuration data (current and future), traffic profiles, high-level model descriptions, traffic calculations of current and future networks, link capacity utilization, graphs, raw data, and assumptions used in model development
