Crayons, construction paper, and music filled my bedroom
ABC song
Computer class curriculum was mainly learning to type and use word processing programs
Advanced computer classes taught internet browsing
Still used floppy diskettes
CDs popularized
Aunt gave me her typewriter which allowed me to surpass peers in typing.
Computer teacher told parents that I excelled in technology. I believe this is what got me referred into gifted talented program in elementary school.
VHS gave way to DVDs
Traded home PC for a laptop
Popularity for CD/DVD writers and flash drive devices
Used computer for more than just word processing
I want every student to have access to laptops in my classroom. › Research› Creating documents
& presentations› Multimedia purposes
Desks arranged in activity stations.
Laptops for each student. Teacher able to IM students and screen
share.
Classroom equipped with various multimedia devices to support learning in different
forms.
