Clarke Isaac Asimov Jules Verne Robert Heinlein George Lucas 4. Since IT is a subject which is involved in constant updating and development, its the field which directly deals with the Scientific / Futuristic concepts illustrated in Sci-Fi movies. IT can be used to compare the technologies we have with us now and what can be added to the list in the future. 5. A. I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) I, Robot (2004) TRON: Legacy (2010) 6. Directed by Steven Spielberg Based on Super-Toys Last All Summer Long by Brian Aldiss Starring: Haley Joel Osment, Jude Law, Frances O'Connor, Brendan Gleeson, William Hurt 7. In the not-so-far future the polar ice caps have melted and the resulting rise of the ocean waters has drowned all the coastal cities of the world. Humans create realistic robots (called mechas) to serve them. One of the mecha-producing companies builds David, an artificial kid which is the first to have real feelings, especially a never-ending love for his "mother", Monica. Monica is the woman who adopted him as a substitute for her real son, who remains in a coma. David is living happily with Monica and her husband, but when their real son returns home after a cure is discovered, his life changes dramatically. 8. Robots which can be programmed to love (Software, Coding & Programming) Robots who react to touch, heat, cold & other feelings (Sensors) Artificial Intelligence 9. Directed by Alex Proyas Based on I, Robot and The Caves of Steel by Isaac Asimov Starring: Will Smith, Bridget Moynahan, Bruce Greenwood, James Cromwell, Chi McBride, Alan Tudyk 10. Set in a future Earth (2035 A.D.) where robots are common assistants and workers for their human owners Chicago Police Detective Del Spooner's investigation into the murder of Dr. Alfred Lanning, who works at U.S. Robotics, in which a robot, Sonny , appears to be implicated, even though that would mean the robot had violated the Three Laws of Robotics, which is apparently impossible. It seems impossible because.. if robots can break those laws, there's nothing to stop them from taking over the world, as humans have grown to become completely dependent upon their robots. 11. Three Laws of Robotics (Programming & Coding The Core of an Artificial Being) A compact mobile phone (Communication) Futuristic car design aiding drivers (Software & Transportation) Three Laws of Robotics: 1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. 2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. 3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws. 12. Directed by Joseph Kosinski Based on Characters by Steven Lisberger & Bonnie MacBird Starring: Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, Michael Sheen 13. Sam Flynn (Hedlund), a rebellious 27-year-old, is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father Kevin Flynn (Bridges), a man once known as the world's leading video-game developer. When Sam investigates a strange signal sent from the old Flynn's Arcade, he finds himself pulled into a digital world where Kevin has been trapped for 20 years. With the help of the fearless warrior Quorra (Wilde), father and son embark on a life-or-death journey across a cyber universe, a universe created by Kevin himself that has become far more advanced with vehicles, weapons, landscapes and a ruthless villain who will stop at nothing to prevent their escape 14. Alternate reality where everything is a program. Including diseases and humans and removing a program meant removing that particular component from The System (Programming, Software, Digital World / Alternate Reality)
