Youtube

In addition, I have used Youtube as a presentation platform by uploading videos of myself discussing my outcomes, music videos and theorists. This approach has been a useful and dynamic way of explaining ideas and creating more dynamic and involving pieces of work.

Youtube has been helpful during my research as it has allowed me to research music videos by Elle Mary and the Bad Men and by artists of similar genres. Because of Youtube, I have been able to directly imbed videos into my coursework, as well as viewing the music videos of other groups and uploading my own music video, thus allowing for peer feedback.

Blogger

Blogger has been the platform for all of my A Level Media Studies coursework; the site allows a user such as myself to create and post any content whilst also allowing one to imbed links to other sites and pieces that I have made.

The site has prevented me from needing to organise paper coursework, as all of my documents are digital and filed under different labels, making my work easy to access and more eco-friendly.

I have been able to save draft posts and continue them entirely online, as well as receive peer and tutor feedback via the comments section.

SoundcloudSoundcloud has been very useful, as it was on this site that I first

listened to Elle Mary and the Bad Men. After getting the band’s permission to make the video, I listened through the music and selected Rose as the strongest track.

However, the site has also been very useful in allowing me to record and upload audio presentations where I verbally discuss different ideas that I have considered in my productions.

Emaze & SlideshareEmaze is a more dynamicand eye-catching way topresent information. It provides interesting transitions and colourful display templates

which help to make my posts more memorable and unique.Slideshare is a more basic way of uploading power point

presentations, but it has allowed me to quickly and easily share PowerPoint documents online. Both Emaze and Slideshare are embeddable to blogger allowing feedback, as

well as allowing comments from external viewers.
