mandatory requirements within the Customs Union are established

for the purpose of presumption of conformity.

IN THE CUSTOMS UNION MARKET
Products are marked before being released for circulation
A manufacturer, an entity authorized by manufacturer, an
importer have the right to mark the products
The marking has to:
- be visible, clear and readable
- prevent deception of consumers about
the meaning and emblem of the mark
The mark ensures circulation of products on the single market of the Customs Union
not requiring additional assessment procedures

Working Party on General Safety Provisions (GRSG)
responsible for drafting of the UN Regulations has
established an informal working group to develop the
new UN Regulation under the chairmanship of the
Russian Federation
Discussion on the first draft of the UN Regulation began
prior to the 105th Session of the GRSG
