Product Description The Sertus Roof Mechanical Pod – Residential | Transition Ductwork (RMP-R | TD) is a bespoke multi- compartmented smoke and heat exhaust duct design, manufactured and installed to operate as part of a pressure differential smoke and heat exhaust system. The system includes multiple duct sections connected to provided, vertical and horizontal smoke ducts within the building and transition between head of builder’s smoke shaft and mechanical extract fan pod. The ductwork is manufactured from galvanised steel and fabricated and installed under Factory Production Control (FPC) conditions and ISO 9001. On-site structural supports, duct sealant,clamps and fixings are utilised to assemble the ductwork to ensure mechanical stability, and to maintain integrity (E), smoke leakage (S), and cross sectional area. Specific Features Manufactured in galvanised steel and Certified to BS EN 12101-7:2011 Smoke Duct Sections Tested to BS EN 1366-1 and BS EN 1366-8 Smoke extraction ducts Classified to BS EN 13501-4, Fire classification using data from fire resistance on component of smoke control systems
