Make the following setting to prevent the system from returning to the default screen:
User Tool System Setting Timer Setting
・ System Auto Reset Timer : OFF
・ Sleep mode timer : 240 min
NICE SD card must be inserted into the service slot on the controller box, NOT the slot on the operation panel.

6. From the sub menu screen, press ’02 TestPrint’ to print out the ‘75%’ test chart and check the image quality.
NOTE It is not recommended to check the image quality with ‘07 Print: FR Adjust: ES1000’ because the pattern is segmented and difficult to examine the entire image.
3.4.3.4 Retrieving the original SP value
If you need to retrieve the previous setting, do the procedure below.
3. Insert the NICE SD card into the SD card slot on the controller box and wait for the NICE main menu screen to appear.
4. From the sub menu screen, press ‘07 Print: FR Adjust: ES1000.’
5. Press ‘02 Undo the Last.’ The previous SP values will be retrieved.

7. Power cycle the machine.
How does the ‘Undo the Last’ work
‘04 Load SP: FR Adjust: ES1000’ creates a csv file containing the SP values before the adjustment. ‘02 Undo the Last’ reads this csv file and rewrites the SP values.
‘04 Load SP: FR Adjust: ES1000’ renames the Page Data (txt file containing data of the measurements made with the spectrophotometer) as ‘USED_***.txt.’

3.5.3 Procedure
NOTE:
The procedure of printing the test chart is different for Pro C9100/Pro C9110. See section ‘1.8 Procedure unique to Pro C9100/Pro C9110’ for the procedure.
If you are working on a printer model and cannot scan the test chart, you may use the scanner embedded on a copier model. Take note that the scanned and saved tiff file will be named after the serial number of the copier, not of the printer. Use the same scanner throughout the procedure.
1. Insert the NICE SD card into the SD card slot on the controller box and wait for the NICE main menu screen to appear.
2. Press ‘Test Print: 75% & CSC.’
3. Place the NICE Calibration Chart (p/n: D0749671) on the contact glass and press ‘Scan: Banding’ to scan the calibration chart.
NOTE: See section 2.2 ‘Common procedure for scanning test charts’ for the correct scanning procedure.
