The Education Cooperative’s new partnership with Pearson’s Connections Learning offers Massachusetts school districts the opportunity to supplement the local program of studies with a full range of online courses. From credit recovery to AP® and enrichment, part-time courses for students grades K-12 can now be offered through your guidance department.

SEMESTER COURSE SEAT$375 per semester courseFall, Spring or Summer

Semester “Course Seat” can be used by a single student at a time to take a single course during a specified period. If a student completes or withdraws from a course, the seat is opened up for that student or another student to take any course. This model is most appropriate for a part-time program where students may enroll in one to four courses.

Individualize instruction with exceptional certified teachersWith Connections Learning, tech-savvy, certified teachers are recruited to work effectively with students in a virtual environment to help them succeed. Dedicated professionals will individualize instruction for students, using state-of-the-art technology, resulting in Connections Learning students regularly meeting or exceeding state benchmarks in core subjects.

Providing the flexibility your students needConnections Learning courses expand learning opportunities for your students, whether they need core credit, credit recovery or acceleration. Our courses are facilitated by a certified teacher, aligned to the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and offer rolling admissions. Our customized learning managements system, Connexus, includes a range of fully integrated instructional tools needed to provide a rigorous, engaging and personalized online learning experience for students. We promote student success by providing course access to the student, family, learning coach and your guidance staff.

Site coordinator supportWhen your students participate in a Connections Learning course, we help make sure that your on-site team is well-prepared to do its part as well. We provide continuous support and training to the site coordinator you assign to facilitate our online solutions at your school!

We ensure your on-site team gets the support they need with: specialized training in using Connexus®, our digital learning platform; regularly scheduled meetings to discuss student progress; and monthly reports on student progress and grades.

Your site coordinator will receive prompt assistance with one phone call or email—whether their question is technical, academic, or administrative.
