Now we are ready to begin our studyby discussing the first 2 types of Print Ads:
The Teaser Ads and the Introductory Ad.
TEASER ADSTEASER ADS
As the name implies, are types of ads that are use to “tease” the reader and hopes to increase curiosity and interest toward the next ad
Generally, it comes in series of 2 to 3 small ad sizes, but there is no limit to its number as long as the advertising budget permits.
Usually shown 1 teaser ad per day in sequence, - but there are times we see teaser ads printed and shown in a newspaper or magazine all at same day. - This depends on the strategy of the Ad Campaign.
INTRODUCTORY ADINTRODUCTORY AD
Is considered as the most important and most crucial print ad in an AD Campaign because it serves as the invitation and welcoming statement from the company or manufacturerFirst Ad that introduces or re-introduces a product , service, an event or company in the market.
It gives a general overview or description of the latest improvement, and other new innovations applied or added on a product or service
In order to connect to the Teaser Ads, same or related Layout elements seen on teaser ads must also be in the Intro Ad.
