Stage One: Needs Assessment* What does this team need to do to be successful? * Check physical, technical, strategical-systems, team, mental, emotional, and inspirational capacities

Stage Two: Planning * Using this information, coaches & team develop a specific plan [team-bonding activities and meeting topics]

Stage Three: Brainstorming* Educational orientation about what team building is and importance of open team communication* Coach can facilitate brainstorming sessions on what this team needs to do to be successful* Coaches can list their comments and those from the players on a blackboard
