PUPPETS:

Puppets have been used forthousand of years by culturesall over the world. Dozens ofdifferent type exist. The onlydefining characteristic is thatthey convey a sense ofcharacter and emotion andeven tell a story.

SHADOW PUPPETS

from lightweight

shown behind a

ROD PUPPETS

below the stage

level by wire rods

or slender sticks.

HAND PUPPETS

-the puppet’s

head is operated

by the forefinger

of the puppeteer,

and thumb being

used to animate

the puppet

hands.
