ENTRY REQUIREMENT Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/equivalent with credit (grade C) in Bahasa Melayu or Bahasa Melayu July Paper and passed in History; AND Having at least Band 2 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET). AND Passed from KPM Matriculation Centre with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and at least Grade C (2.00) in the following subjects: · Mathematics · Chemistry or Engineering Studies · Physics / Biology *Candidate who does not take Physics in Matriculation must have at least Grade B for Physics in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM). In the industry, mechanical engineering graduates are highly marketable and hold a wide range of position either in public agencies or private companies which include among others are:

CURRICULUM STRUCTURE Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was established in June 2001 and is offering Diploma and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering as well as Post-Graduates programmes. Since the establishment of the faculty, more than 3,000 students have been graduated from these programmes. Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering programme will be recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and will comply with the requirements of the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) and Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

What students are expected to know, perform or attain by the time of graduation:

Highly specialised mechanical engineering graduates are employed in many industrial sectors which cover the following work environments: Design and manufacturing of automotive components and

engine. Defence industries, power generation and environmental

protection. Marine industries and sea transport. Automation, control and robotic industries. Heavy machinery industries that use hydraulic and pneumat-

ic system, electronic and digital driven machines. Agricultural and food production industries. Petrochemical, oil & gas and mineral industries. Biotechnology and biomedical industries. Research and development, engineering management and

Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia Kertas Julai dan lulus dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah (SPM 2013 dan ke atas) dalam peperiksaan SPM;

Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia di peringkat SPM MESTI lulus dengan KEPUJIAN dalam mata pelajaran tersebut sebelum
