A « warm » hello to all the
euro newspaper readers of
LAD. As this is our last print,
the team decided to make this
one, a spectal one. A warm-
hearted paper to encourage
our Terminals to succeed in
their BAC, finish the year on a
high note and a happy farwell
for summer. But don't worry,
just because this paper is
orientated around the events
that have unfolded these past
few weeks at high school, we
are not about to forget about
the trips to Spain and Ireland,
as well as our monthly sports
column. We thank you all for
this excellent year and for ta-
king your time to read the
teams work ! And don't forget,
ENJOY SUMMER !
AN ATYPICAL WEEK IN THE HIGH SCHOOL LAD
The opening of the Cultural Week
Monday, May 23 marked the beginning of the cultural week at
Louis Audouin Dubreuil High School. The aim of this week is to
promote students' work, to highlight all the projects of the year and
to open our school to parents.
First, at the 10 am break, in the courtyard, an ephemeral group per-
formance was realized with students dressed in the colors of the
cultural week (yellow, red and green) for a photo. The opening was
done by Mrs. Miara's speech and by awards given to the winners of
various competitions conducted since September. Then a concert
by Dazman Band took place in the covered playground of the
school. They played several covers of famous songs (like ZZ Top,
the Grange) but also some of their own compositions. The 2016
edition of the cultural week was finally launched !

Cultural Week !!
The improvisation game
During the cultural week, there were some activities like an improvisation game, with two teams (with stu-
dents and teachers): the "green" team and the "orange" team. Each team had a "battle cry". For the Green
team it was about sex toy: "We love accessories!". The other team's cry was: "Radish, courgette, leek!". The-
re were many scenes with a new theme each time. The themes were chosen by the public, and drawn. And, at
the end of game, the winners were... The Greens!

A delicious morning
Friday the 27 of May, during the last day of the cultu-
ral week, the farmer's market took place on the
playground from 09.30 am to 12.00. Mme Collin ope-
ned it and she received some flowers for her last year
at our high school. All the students could taste oysters,
cheese, fruits, block, bread and sweets.
And there was also the pedagogical farmer Yvonne
with goats, chickens, rubbits, guinea-pigs, a ewe and a
pony to feed and to caress. They weren't scared becau-
se they have been raised by children and they are used
to come to different schools. Thanks to the cook for
organizing this market and to the ASSP classes to ser-
ved us the delicious treats.

Teenagers set fire to the theater !
On Tuesday, 24th of May, pupils sang many songs
on the open air theater to all high school. The first
teenager to sing was Marine Epaud, who interpre-
ted « Read all about it » and « Manhattan-Kaboul »
from Renaud, and « Radioactive » from Imagine
Dragon.
The second to perform was a group. Noémie Roy
sang « Halo » of Beyonce and « I will always love
you » of Whitney Houston, with Andy Billeau who
was dancing.
At the end, Alban Ploquin and Clément Mathé pre-
sented two songs, but only the instrumental, with «
Smell like teen spirit » of Nirvana.

The street art During the cultural week, an artist
came to the LAD high school to en-
gage students to graph (or street art)
on a wall. When he started, not many
students went to this workshop, but
after 1 hour more and more students
looked and got interest at the sight of
his work and worked of their fellow
students. They were able to act out
their thoughts with the spray cans.
The end result will be displayed at
the MDL as it is very beautiful. You
can find the artist on this Facebook
page : Atom Ludik. The goal of this
artist is to get wild and free the stu-
dents thoughts.

A wonderful Dance Time
Last Thursday, during the Cultural Week, a
« Dance Time » took place in the multi-
purpose room, during the lunch break. We
have seen many different groups, different
styles of dance. For example, Andy Billeau, a
Terminal vocational high school (TBPV) a
realized poignant improvisation. It really was
a wonderful moment in front of a crowed
room !

A sustainable competition !
As part of the competition organised by the Greenies, the highschool group of
sustainable development, students participated and proposed some different
projects like posters and videos about recycling. The winners are Lorie Noblet
and Fanny Piffeteau, who realized this poster, and they won four tickets for the
treetop adventure park. Laurine Dieumegard and Lucie Chappet won two tic-
kets for the Futuroscope for their video.
