1. REVIEW: TDDA will assist in reviewing any current Drug and Alcohol policy to ensure its relevance in today’s environment of ever changing legislation and case law.

2. DEVELOP: No two workplaces are the same and your Drug and Alcohol policy needs to reflect who you are as an organisation. We develop policies to fit your specific needs and those of your workforce.

3. CONSULTATION: TDDA assists our clients in any policy consultation as required. Having our expertise on hand during the process is worth its weight in gold and will save you valuable time and money.

1. EMPLOYEE TRAINING SESSIONS: Topics covered in these 75 minute sessions include; drug and alcohol abuse and effects; drug and alcohol testing in the workplace; methamphetamine (the danger drug and national trends); introducing your drug and alcohol policy; what to expect from the drug and alcohol testing procedures; and work health and safety legislation.

2. MANAGEMENT TRAINING WORKSHOPS: Topics covered in these 4 hour workshops include; drug and alcohol testing in the workplace; drug use indicators and paraphernalia; statistics and facts about drug use and testing; duties under the Work Health and Safety

legislation; establishing reasonable grounds; search and seizure; and group scenario work. Attendance at this training includes our specifically designed TDDA smart phone drug app.

3. COMMUNITY EDUCATION SESSIONS: Drugs and their effects is a community problem. TDDA offers community education presentations to help deliver the message to a wider audience. TDDA have also created a smart phone drug app to help inform parents. 25% of the proceeds from the sale of this app are donated to children’s hospitals across Australasia.

URINE TESTING

TDDA uses a urine screening device which is verified to the Australian/New Zealand standard. We believe this device is the best on the market, providing fast, accurate and reliable results. The device screens for six drug classes and adulterants.

ORAL FLUID TESTING

With either the Oratect point of care device or the new DDS2 device, TDDA can provide an oral fluid testing option that meets your needs. Our procedure fully complies with the Australian standard for oral fluid collection.

SYNTHETIC TESTING

TDDA have the expertise to test

for both synthetic cannabis and

synthetic cathinones or “bath

salts”. Both these compounds

offer a real risk in the

workplace, due to how they are

made and their unpredictable

HAIR TESTING

Drug hair testing (either head

or body hair) is well suited for

the corporate pre-employment

market. TDDA offer a state of

the art hair testing service, with

the collection of evidential hair

samples being done at one of our

TDDA offices or from our mobile

testing vehicles.

ALCOHOL TESTING

TDDA uses digital alcohol meters

that are not only very accurate,

but also comply with the

relevant Australian standard.

Alcohol levels are set by your

company and should be outlined

in the Drug and Alcohol Policy.

TDDA consulted closely with us to customise their

management and employee training to fit with our culture.
