The parents of man will go to the house of the women to ask the hand of the woman for marriage.

The Dowry is also being agreed by the parents.

becomes a lavish party like an engagement.

It is on this occasion that the amount of the dowry is announced to the public

The wedding day. This day is complimented by the joyous

faces, colorful attire, and glittering pieces of jewelry worn by both the hosts and guests.

After the bride's father had given the consent, solemnization shall take place. Part of the process is that, the solemnizing imam will lead the groom into the bride's quarter whereby the groom's thumb shall have to be firmly pressed into a spot in between the bride's eyebrows. This completed the rituals of solemnization.
