c) We have a living ro'm, two bedrooms, a kitchen, adining room, a bathroom, a toilet and a hall. The livingroom is very spacious. lt's about 25 square metres. Myparents' bedroom, the master bedroom, is 16 squaremetres. My bedroom is smatler, it's only 1,2 squaremetreS. l like the layout of our flat. AlI the bedroomsopen into the hall and have separate entrances.

your living room / sitting room. How is it furnished?a) Our living room is very spacious. lt is the heart of family

life, and we spend a tot of time here. lt is comfortableand welcoming. ln our living room we have a Rice, otdparquet floor. There are cotourful rugs on the floor.They protect the parquet and add warmth, softnessand colour to the room. The walls are painted lightblue, the curtains on the windows are b!ue, too.ln one of the corners there is a black leather cornersofa. ln front of the sofa is a coffee table. There is anarmchair opposite the sofa. The books, the stereosystem and the Tv are on a big set of bookshelveson the opposite wall. we have paintings on the waltabove the settee.

My mother loves plants, especially cacti, so we have alot of plants in our living room.

b) Our living roorn is a medium_sized room with largewindows that face south-west, so it is nice and sunny.we don't have too much furniture in it - just a sofa,two armchairs, a coffee table and a big plasma Tv set.Our furniture is modern, practica| and light_coloured.The fitted carpet is green, the curtains are light green,the sofa is beige and the armchairs are covered in abeige and green flowered materia|. l spend more timein the living room than anywhere etse. l like to lie onthe big sofa in the middle of the room and watch TVfrom there, but lgenerally fatl asleep when ldo that.

we have got a nice, spacious kitchen. AlI the things likethe cooker, the sink, the microwave and the dishwasherare on one wall. a) We have a paved patio. Glass doors lead out from theliving room to the patio. ln the summer we often inviteour friends over for a barbecue party on the patio.

One of the best things about ourtown is the swimming-pool. lt is only 5 minutes' walkfrom our house.
