Carrolup System: Undulating terrain with narrow drainage lines. Grey sandy duplexes, mainly deep with minor duplex sandy gravels and brown deep sands.Ca1 Mid to upper slopes and crests. Sandy gravels with minor grey deep sandy duplex and gravelly pale
deep sandsCa2 Drainage lines, lower to upper slopes and crests. Grey deep and shallow sandy duplex.Ca2s Lower to mid slopes. Brown deep sand is dominant.Ca3 Mid to upper slopes and crests. Grey shallow and deep sandy duplex, brown deep sands, red duplexes
and small areas of rock outcrop.Ca4 Footslopes, lower to upper slopes and drainage lines. Shallow and deep sandy duplexes with duplex
sandy gravel, shallow loamy duplexes and saline wet soil.Ca5 Valley flats(100-300 m wide), stream channels and lower slopes. Saline wet soils with some grey deep

gravel.Ch2g Chillinup Subsystem 2 gilgai phase: Poorly drained, level, low-lying plains with large areas represented
by shallow crabhole gilgai. Alkaline grey shallow sandy duplex, alkaline grey deep sandy duplex, hard cracking clay and wet soil.
Ch3 Linear dunes (oriented in NW-SE direction) and associated interdunal swales. Pale deep sand is dominant with deep sandy gravel and grey deep sandy duplex.
Ch4 Salt lakes with minor lunettes. Salt lake soil is dominant with calcareous loamy earth and alkaline grey shallow loamy duplex.
Ch5 Gentle gravelly rises with areas of sand sheet deposits. Pale deep sand, duplex sandy gravel and deep sandy gravel.
Ch6 Large lunettes adjacent to swamps and salt lakes. Pale deep sand is dominant with alkaline grey deep sandy duplex and calcareous loamy earth.
Dedatup System: Undulating rises and undulating low hills of the Pallinup River valley. Alkaline grey shallow sandy duplex with alkaline red shallow loamy duplexes, yellow/brown shallow loamy duplex and grey shallow sandy duplexes.Dd1 Residual gravelly plains bordered by upper valley slopes and some breakaways. Grey shallow sandy
duplex and shallow gravel with Alkaline grey shallow sandy duplex and grey deep sandy duplexDd2 Mid to upper valley slopes. Grey shallow sandy duplex with alkaline grey shallow sandy duplex and
alkaline grey shallow loamy duplex.Dd3 Areas of shallow basement rock of dolerite and gneiss. Alkaline grey shallow sandy duplex with alkaline
red shallow loamy duplex, brown shallow loamy duplex and red/brown non-cracking clay.Dd4 Narrow valley floors. Saline wet soil with alkaline grey shallow sandy duplex with pale deep sand and
alkaline grey deep sandy duplex.Dd5 Major valley floors. Saline wet soil and brown deep sand. Gordon Flats System: Broad valley floor with low dunes, swampy depressions and low gravelly rises. Grey deep sandy duplex with semi-wet soil, pale deep sand, duplex sandy gravel, saline wet soil and grey shallow sandy duplex.Gd1 Broad valley plains. Grey deep sandy duplex with semi-wet soil, duplex sandy gravel and saline wet
soil.Gd2 Low sandy rises and dunes. Grey deep sandy duplex and pale deep sand are prominent with grey
shallow sandy duplex and yellow deep sand.Gd3 Low gravelly rises. Duplex sandy gravel is common with deep sandy gravel and grey deep sandy
duplex.Gd4 Swampy terrain with minor areas of dunes. Pale deep sand with semi-wet soil, saline wet soil and
yellow deep sand.Gd5 Saline drainage lines and flats. Saline wet soil is dominant with grey deep sandy duplex.Gd6 Broad drainage lines of major rivers. Saline wet soil is dominant with grey deep sandy duplex, pale
deep sand and semi-wet soil. Hydenup System: Level to gently undulating sand plain with numerous shallow depressions. Grey deep sandy duplex, pale deep sand, and duplex sandy gravel.Hd1 Gravelly rises above the level sandplain. Duplex sandy gravel, loamy gravel, grey deep sandy duplex
and alkaline grey deep sandy duplex.Hd2 Level to gently undulating plain mainly covered in thin sand sheet. Grey deep sandy duplex and pale
deep sand with shallow gravel, duplex sandy gravel and deep sandy gravel.Hd2s Sandsheets and low dunes. Pale deep sand is dominant.Hd3 Level plain with swamps and salt lakes. Pale deep sand with wet soil, salt lake soil, grey deep sandy
duplex and saline wet soil. Jaffa System: Undulating broad rises with rock outcrops, interspersed with undulating plains. Grey deep sandy duplex, grey shallow sandy duplex and grey shallow loamy duplex.Jf1 Lower to upper slopes and hillcrests. Duplex sandy gravel, grey deep sandy duplex and grey shallow
sandy duplex are commonJf2 Footslopes and undulating plains. Grey deep sandy duplex is widespread with grey shallow sandy
duplex and semi-wet soil.Jf3 Mid to upper slope and hillcrest areas dominated by granite outcropping. Grey deep sandy duplex, grey
shallow loamy duplex, bare rock and shallow gravel are common.Jf4 Drainage lines and footslopes. Grey deep sandy duplex, semi-wet soil, grey shallow sandy duplex and
saline wet soil. Kent System: Undulating lateritic plains with lakes and poorly drained flats. Duplex sandy gravels with semi-wet soil, shallow gravel and grey deep sandy duplex.CM Camballup Subsystem: Swampy plains with some broad drainage floors, lakes and low rises. Wet soil,
semi-wet soil, grey deep sandy duplex and duplex sandy gravel.CMp Camballup Subsystem plains phase: Swampy plain with lunettes and low rises. Pale shallow sand,
semi wet soil, saline wet soil, deep sandy gravel and pale deep sand.CMw Camballup Subsystem wet phase: Lakes and swamps with lunettes. Wet soil, semi-wet soil, saline wet
soil and duplex sandy gravel.MW Mallawillup Subsystem: Broadly undulating low gravelly rises. Duplex sandy gravel with shallow
gravel, grey deep sandy duplex, deep sandy gravel and semi-wet soil.NY Naypundup Subsystem: Valleys of low relief. Grey deep and shallow sandy duplex, saline wet soil and
duplex sandy gravel. NYd Naypundup Subsystem downstream phase: Minor valleys of low relief. Saline wet soil, Grey deep
sandy duplex and duplex sandy gravel. PP Perillup Subsystem: Gently undulating plain with some swamps. Yelllow/brown shallow loamy duplex
and duplex sandy gravel are dominant with grey deep sandy duplex soils also common. Kokarinup System: Undulating rises and gently undulating plains associated with the Pallinup River. Linear dunes are a feature. Alkaline grey sandy duplex soils (mostly deep), pale deep sand, and grey deep sandy duplexes.Kb1 Gently undulating rises. Alkaline grey shallow sandy duplex, alkaline grey deep sandy duplex, red deep
sandy duplex and loamy gravel.Kb2 Gently undulating valley slopes. Alkaline grey deep sandy duplex with pale deep sand, grey deep sandy
duplex and red shallow loamy duplex.Kb3 Longitudinal dunes oriented mainly in E-W direction, associated with the Pallinup River. Pale deep sand
and grey deep sandy duplex with alkaline grey deep sandy duplex and shallow gravel.Kb4 Drainage lines dissecting sand sheets. Saline wet soil and pale deep sand with alkaline grey deep
sandy duplex and shallow gravel soils.Kb5 Saline valley floors. Saline wet soil with grey deep sandy duplex, and alkaline grey deep and shallow
sandy duplex soils. Lower Pallinup System: Major valleys with breakaways and rock outcrops. Alkaline grey deep sandy duplexes, duplex sandy gravels, grey deep sandy duplexes and pale shallow sands.Lp1 Level to very gently undulating plain and low rises blanketed by sandy aeolian deposits. Shallow and
deep sandy duplex, and gravelly duplex with some deep sandsheets and sand dunes.Lp2 Valley slopes. Grey shallow sandy duplex and yellow/brown shallow sandy duplex with duplex sandy
gravel and yellow/brown shallow loamy duplex soils.Lp3 Valley floors. Grey deep sandy duplex with red deep loamy duplex and grey shallow loamy duplex soils. Mabinup System: Undulating terrain with poorly drained valley floor and low dunes. Saline wet soil is dominant with alkaline grey shallow sandy duplex.Mb1 Gravelly rises and breakaways. Shallow gravel with alkaline grey shallow sandy duplex and duplex
sandy gravel.Mb2 Linear dunes above the salt affected areas. Pale deep sand with alkaline grey deep sandy duplex.Mb3 Slightly saline and waterlogged areas. Alkaline grey shallow sandy duplex and saline wet soil with
alkaline grey shallow loamy duplex and calcareous loamy earth.Mb4 Wide saline valley floors. Saline wet soil with salt lake soil. Mooliup System: Undulating low rises and swampy plains overlain by linear dunes blown from the bed of the Gordon River. Grey deep and shallow sandy duplex and pale deep sand with duplex sandy gravel and some semi-wet and saline wet soils.Mp1 Hillcrests and upper slopes. Grey deep sandy duplex and duplex sandy gravel are dominant.Mp2 Gently undulating broad rises. Grey deep sandy duplex and duplex sandy gravel are dominant with
grey shallow sandy duplex soil.Mp3 Linear dunes oriented in NW-SE direction. Pale deep sand and grey deep sandy duplex soils are
dominant with brown deep sand.Mp4 Swampy plains. Saline wet soil and grey deep sandy duplex are dominant with pale deep sand and
wet and semi-wet soils.Mp5 Saline drainage lines. Saline wet soil is dominant with grey deep and shallow sandy duplex soils. North Stirlings System: Poorly drained flats with many salt lakes and low dunes. Salt lake soil and deep sandy duplexes, often with alkaline subsoils, with pale deep sand and saline wet soil.Nt1 Basin floor with salt lakes, lunettes and saline flats. Alkaline grey deep sandy duplex and grey deep
sandy duplex soil, with semi-wet soil, salt lake soil and saline wet soil.Nt2 Lower slopes above basin floor. Grey deep and shallow sandy duplexes, often with alkaline subsoils,
and duplex sandy gravel.Nt3 Mid to upper slopes and crests. Grey deep sandy duplex is dominant with alkaline grey shallow sandy
duplex.Nt4 Large lunettes on margins of salt lakes. Pale deep sand and grey deep sandy duplex soils.Nt5 Sand sheets on the basin floor. Stony soil, bare rock.St2 Upper slopes and undulating hills. Stony soil is dominant with duplex sandy gravel and shallow gravel.St3 Undulating rises and low hills. Grey deep sandy duplex with shallow gravel and stony soil.St4 Level to gently undulating plain and footslopes of the range. Grey deep sandy duplex is common with
grey shallow sandy duplex and duplex sandy gravel.St5 Sandsheets on lower slopes of the Stirling Range. Pale deep sand is dominant with grey deep sandy
duplex, often with alkaline subsoils.St6 Well defined drainage lines originating from the Stirling Range slopes. Shallow gravel, pale deep sand,
brown loamy earth and semi-wet soil. Toompup System: Dissected upland plain. Grey deep and shallow sandy duplex soils, duplex sandy gravels with minor areas of shallow gravels, yellow/brown and alkaline grey sandy duplex soils.Tm1 Broad upland plain consisting of slopes and flats. Shallow gravel and grey deep and shallow sandy
duplex with duplex sandy gravel common.Tm2 Mid to upper slopes and level to undulating upland plains. Grey deep and, less commonly, shallow
sandy duplex soils, duplex sandy gravels and yellow/brown sandy duplex soilsTm2s Sand sheets. Pale deep sand is dominant with alkaline grey deep sandy duplex.Tm3 Slopes and flats in gently undulating terrain. Alkaline grey sandy duplex soils, grey deep sandy duplex
soils and alkaline grey shallow loamy duplex soils.Tm4 Drainage lines and upper tributaries of the Pallinup River. Saline wet soil and alkaline grey deep sandy

Grey shallow and deep sandy duplexes, alkaline grey shallow sandy and loamy duplexes with minor rock loamy duplexes and gravels.Up1 Crests and upper slopes. Duplex sandy gravels, shallow gravels and deep sandy gravels with alkaline
grey shallow sandy duplex soils and grey deep sandy duplex soils. Up1s Upper Pallinup 1 Subsystem sandy phase: Upper to mid slopes. Gravelly pale deep sands with pale
deep and shallow sands.Up2 Lower, middle and upper hillslopes and broad hillcrests. Grey shallow sandy and loamy duplex soils,
