TALL BIKE TOUR

The Tall Bike Tour is a journey that we have been preparing for our entire lives. It will be the most challenging project that we have ever undertaken. With this project we seek to live out the Wisdom of the Three Beans more fully than ever before.

Create Everywhere

We are making as much of our equipment as possible. We are building our tall bikes, designing and fabricating our tents, camping equipment and clothing.

We will spread creativity through Free Art! workshops, teaching people how to make tall bikes, whirligigs and patches. Free Art! workshops will be gatherings where people make art, share food and

Redeem Everything

We use as much recycled material as we can to build all of our equipment and as the supplies for our Free Art! workshops.

By riding bicycles and camping we are seeking to minimize our environmental impact.

Our goal is to make spontaneous connections with people, build friendships and encourage people to use creativity to transform their lives.

Be A Fool

We will be riding tall bikes and carrying all our gear with us. "It takes courage to make a fool of yourself." -Charlie Chaplin

We are undertaking this journey for the one we will meet along the way who feels alone in this world, for those who see the world differently and suffer for it. For the ones who stopped creating long ago because they were told they couldn't draw well enough, sing in tune or dance to the right beat. For those who were told that, in this world, some people are artists and some are not.

We are doing this for us.

Because we want to live in a world of wild creativity. A world where there are tall bikes on every street and hand painted cars rolling down every highway. A world where clothing is colourful, eccentric and meaningful. Where front yards are full of friends and families making music together and the outside walls of our homes are seen as opportunities for artistic creation. A world where art has no boundaries. A world where everyone is an artist.

Is this a foolish dream? Yes.

But we know we are not alone. We ride on, confounding the conformists and making connections with the few who have held on for dear life to their most precious resource. Their creativity.

Right now, more than ever, the world needs people who are willing to risk foolishness to use their creativity to redeem the world.
