If you hit the road on a tour in China’s Yichang
City, the Three Travellers’ Cave and the Yu
Spring are the two main striking spots that
you should not disregard. The “Sanyou Cave”
is located in a deep valley situated 10 kilome-
tres away from City of Yichang. It is tempera-
te in winter and fresh during the summer with
vast and beautiful views. Inside the cave you
can find three main stalagmites (the three trave-
llers), which divide the cave into two chambers.
The chamber near the front is wide and brilliant
and along its walls there are more than 40 sto-
ne tablets - caved with poems and prose made
from the famous poets when they tour this area.
The other chamber is murky and cavernous
with many odd stalactites. If you throw a sto-
ne at those stalactites, you will hear the echo
sound of a bell,
yet when the
stone falls in to
the water you
will hear the
echo sound of a
thump. This is
one of the reasons this cave’s attraction. The Yu
Spring is located next to the Three Travellers’
Cave and is another sightseer spot. The “Jade
Spring” (literally translated) is famous for its
clear springs and elegant surroundings. This
spring earned its notoriety and being one of the
four finest picturesque spots of China.
With all this sightseeing you will for sure be fa-
mished and looking for the ideal venue to have
your repast. You will not need to search too far.
The restaurant near the Sanyou cave above the
Chang Jiang River is the most impressive venue
you will find in these surroundings. It is one of
the most singular sites to dine due to its parti-
cular placing – it is placed at the top of the river
and, as you may see from the picture, surroun-
ded by a grotto. With its breathtaking view it
will surely pro-
vide you one of
the most un-
conventional
dinners that
you will ever
experience.

Located in the South Pacific
in the Fiji islands, about three
thousand kilometres east of
Australia, a seven-star hotel
was built. With the cost of more
than $ 500 million, the Posei-
don Undersea Resort is part of
its premises at the bottom of
a “pond” at sea (surrounded
by a coral atoll which forms
an almost closed bay). It is the
world’s first underwater resort
and only place where you can
spend the night in luxury at 12
meters depth. This idea was
born due to engineer L. Bruce
Jones, who owns 20 years wor-
king experience on submarine
technology and is president of
U.S. Submarines. The complex
consists of 20 underwater sui-
tes measuring 10 meters by 5.1
meters, and a master suite – the
Nautilus Suite - with about 1,000
square meters. The accommo-

dations were constructed as
prefabricated modules – with
the shape of individual capsu-
les – and were arranged on both
sides along a passageway joi-
ning the two core areas (where
the panoramic lifts lead to the
surface). One of the cores has
a library, a conference room, a
chapel and a spa. On the other
you can find the reception and
a spectacular revolving restau-
rant, which rotates 360 degrees
every 40 minutes. All areas
of the submerged structure of
the hotel are transparent. The
structure of acrylic of the ac-
commodation provides a spec-
tacular view of 270 degrees,
which allows contemplating
the immense beauty of the sea
- sharks, stingrays, turtles, dol-
phins and large schools of fish
can be seen there. The resort‘s

You will surely be impressed
with this Resort Hotel. Its name
is Amangiri, “peaceful moun-
tain”, and it is actually located
in the desert of Utah near the
Arizona border. With 243 hec-
tares of residential buildings,
the Amangiri is the largest hotel
to be found in a desert in Ame-
rica. Most of the spaces of this
luxurious resort are dedicated
to an audacious and modern ar-
chitecture which blends with its
external environment. The hotel
boasts in its architecture colours
of natural tones and textures with
the intention to mingle with the
surroundings as much as pos-
the use of acrylic, which has the
ability to maximize the viewing
while maintaining the structural
strength. The material is strong
and completely transparent pro-
viding each suite with a safety
factor of 6:1. The Poseidon’s
submarines offer tours, lectures
and other activities for guests,
plus a variety of activities on
land such as golf. The service at
the Poseidon Undersea Resort
features six restaurants, seven
bars, a dive shop, a water sports
centre and a retail boutique.
Despite the high daily rates,
this hotel has been sold out sin-
ce its opening. Reservations at
the resort cost usually $ 30,000
per couple, per week, including
four nights at the surface – two
nights at the bungalow in front
of the beautiful beaches of the
island, and two nights in the
submerged suites.
Amangari Spa and Resort, a secluded retreat - Utha sible, which also contributed to
boost its approval from environ-
mentalists who care for the local
structure of the desert. The resort
is particularly secluded from any
kind of commotion since it is lo-
cated as far as a 25 minutes’ dri-
ve from the nearest town and 15
minutes’ from the famous Lake
Powell. Amangiri presents in his
luxurious reception a beautiful
central pavilion which was com-
piled around the main pool - this
dome embraces a stone cliff re-
sembling the resorts’ surroun-
dings. Inside the pavilion you
can find the living room, galle-
ries, a library, a dining room and
a private dining room with a wine
cellar. Two housing wings lead
the pavilion into the wilderness:
16 suites are located within the
desert ward, and 18 other suites,
together with the Aman Spa, are
located within the second ward.
The Amangiri Aman Spa is an
escape from the strains of the
outside world and has an area
specialized in flotation therapy.
The beautiful desert landscape
offers a variety of outdoor acti-
vities. The resort offers not only
hiking and exploration, but air
tours, such as hot air ballooning
and scenic air flights as well as
water-based adventures.
