macrobert’s all newMusical Theatre Class bursts intoWednesday evenings this autumn. For all those interested inacting, singing and dancing, orwho have enjoyed taking partin either our summer festivalmusicals or our Panto, this isthe ideal class to learn and perfect routines and songs.

The three hour classwill involve all aspects of performing inMusical Theatre: acting, singing and dancing andwill be ledby some of Scotland's bestmusical theatre artists.

Whether you have or haven't been in amusical theatreproduction before, this classwill support and develop your allround performance skills for the stage.

Great for those starting out in film-making, wanting to perfecttheir practical knowledge and understanding behind the camera orpractice the basics of editing, this classwill be looking at filmmaking from the creation of an idea right through to the final edit.For thosewho have perfected the basics and are looking to adda littlemore spice to their films, wewill look closer at effectsediting, creating videos and animations.

In July 2012,macrobert will host theNational Theatre of Scotland’svibrant Exchange Festival, where the next generation oftheatre-makers fromScotland and across theworld presenta rich programme of devised pieces, inspired by and created incollaborationwith some of today'smost accomplished nationaland international theatre-makers.

For Exchange a newly formedmacrobert performance group havecreatedDo Not Feed the Trolls, a provocative and darkly entertainingpiece of theatre that celebrates thosemoments in life when you justcan't help but crush the soul of your fellow human being.

Join us atmacrobert for Exchange, where each night a double billof brand newproductionswill be presented.
