Can be used for

• Formative assessment

• More exposure to information literacy in a class

• Flip an information literacy class

• As an online class

My experience with English composition

• Summer 2014, approached English professor about adding ResearchReady

• Worked together to customize ResearchReady

• Goals:

• Get more information literacy into existing relationship

• Get more assessment data related to their information literacy knowledge and skills

• Flip the two visits to the library, to some extent

“Pre-Made” vs. Customized

• Worked with Level 2

• Worked with professor to select appropriate lessons:• Web Evaluation

• Conquering the Research Process

• Popular & Scholarly Sources

• Added pre- & post-tests tailored to the specific assignment

• Shortened Web Evaluation course by eliminating some practice lessons

• Created my own plagiarism tutorial video using Adobe Captivate

• Created another video tailored to the particular assignment
