Storepro Solutions Ltd was founded in Auckland in 2004 by Aaron Young after he had managed Capital Racking NZ prior to it being subsequently sold.

A hands on Managing Director - Aaron Young has been in the racking industry in NZ and Australia since 1997 and prior to that was involved in personnel within the warehousing and manufacturing industry.

Aaron himself and key Storepro staff visit the manufacturing facilities of Storepro in China, Malaysia and Australia at least twice annually with a view to ensuring continued service and quality, whilst always looking for new innovative ideas.

MATERIAL AND SAFETY FACTORS

All Storepro frames and beams are manufactured from high performance cold steel rolled which has a built-in minimum safety factor on yield of 1.65:1.

DESIGN STANDARDS

All Storepro's Pallet Racking has been designed using the Australian Standard AS 4084-1993 and AS 4084-2012 BRANZ guidlines. Storepro's racking has been independently tested in Australia and New Zealand in 2013. This original standard is predominantly based on the American Rack Manufacture Institute Specification (RMI) when used at its lower tier, although it also takes information from the British Storage Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) and the European Racking Code FEM 10.2.02 for the higher tiers of the Standard. It should be used in conjunction with AS/NZS4600-2005 consistent with best practice.

Storepro's racking meets all NZ Standards: NZS 4203; AS 1170.5; AS/NZS 4600 and the latest INDEPENDENT certification from Australia - AS4084 / 2012

The Storepro Beam Connector is the result of extensive testing on specially developed rigs. It is designed to increase resistance to sideways sway moments and effectively take vertical loads and moments on specially designed high performance hooks. The high performance hooks provide ultimate strength, rigidity and stability within the rack structure.

Storepro Beam Connectors are factory fitted with a self locking safety device to prevent dislodgement of the beams from the upright column when subjected to upward forces. The new 'beam on connector' position increases system rigidity and resistance to impact loads.

Selective Pallet Racking

Industrial Storage Systems

Selective Pallet Racking is the most flexible, cost effective and most common storage system for pallets.

This system allows the selection of any pallet location at any time allowing first in first out (FIFO) access, providing direct access to all pallets. At the same time damage to your product is much reduced by being contained inside the racks.

Floor utilisation approximately 40% storage area and 60% operating area.

This racking meets all international and NZ standards including NZS 1170, AS4084, FEM 10.2.02. Technically superior when compared to other systems available with a double rolled edge post section, and the beam being double wall thickness through rolled construction and design.

Storepro have large stock holdings of standard components so you can quickly expand or adjust in height, length and depth at any point in the near future.

Storepro also offer a complete installation service with our own qualified and experienced team ready to have you up and running immediately.

Drive in Racking

Features


Drive in racking offers the maximum capacity within your space – ideal for a small range but a large number of pallets and custom designed to suit your needs and building size.

Rows of pallet storage lanes are arranged with operating aisles between them to allow transport and access to each lane.

Lanes can be from 2 deep to 10 deep, however systems over 7 deep should be considered carefully to minimise pallet handling difficulties, ensuring pallet turnover and storage position losses are minimised.

Storage area 68% and operating area 32% space utilisation.

Last In First Out (LIFO) product arrangement, allowing access to 50 % of goods when stored 2 deep.

• Ideal for bulk storage

• Provides most efficient use of available space

• Aisles may be dedicated to single products and product styles

• Offers easy access with standard forklifts , so no special handling equipment required

• Ideal for seasonal goods where input and output take place at different times

Double Deep Racking

Features


Double deep racking systems can provide far greater capacity with only slightly reduced accessibility when compared to selective pallet racking.

Pallets are stored two or four pallets deep in a double entry rack. The system requires the use of a reach truck.

Storage area is 55% and working area 45%.

Double deep racking is the perfect option if you are running out of space. It is a great way to maximise your storage capacity.

• Can result in up to 50% more storage space

• Reduces the possibility of damage to racks from lifting equipment

Push Back Racking

Features


The Push Back Racking System offers a similar storage density as drive-in racking while refining the selectivity and ease of access to a range of SKUs. The Push Back System is suited to store large volumes of bulk product, when stock rotation is not an issue.

The Push Back System allows pallets to be stored between 2 and 6 deep on carriers fitted on slightly inclined rails. The loaded pallets are pushed into the rack aisle by “Pushing Back”. This is done by the fork lift truck. When the front pallet is retrieved, gravity causes the next pallet to move forward into a ready position allowing them to be picked from the rack face in sequence.

With limited the Stock Rotation - Last In First Out (LIFO).

• Greater use of available pallet positions than most storage systems

Shuttle Racking


Shuttle racking is a great choice for high density storage if you have restricted staffing numbers. The Shuttle is controlled with a remote type system by handling the goods in and out of a deep storage tunnel, very similar to the drive-in setup. This leaves your operators and staff free to perform other tasks.

The Shuttle system is well suited for storing large numbers of pallets per SKU with a limited Stock Rotation - Last In First Out (LIFO) or First In First Out (FIFO). This system provides Increase productivity with minimal damage to racking and product. It enables you to achieve high density storage and maintain convenience. The Shuttle gives you individual access to each aisle and pallets can be stacked far deeper with the shuttle than any other standard racking system, thus enabling you to maximise your warehouse space to its full potential.

Raised Storage / Mezzanine Floors

A raised storage area is the fast way to add extra floor space within the shell of your existing building. In fact, you can virtually double your floor space without changing premises - or increasing your rent. It is built using standard pallet racking as a structure, and specialised accessories such as railing and stairs are manufactured to suit.

Raised storage areas provide the means to create separate zones within one centralised storage space - so you can allocate separate areas for bulky items and fragile items, separate areas for warehousing and despatch, separate areas for fast-moving and slow-moving stock, and so on.

An affordable option when space is at a premium, Storepro will tailor each installation to suit your needs and your site.

Simple to dismantle and take with you when you move as it is not a fixed building structure.

Storepro Heavy Duty Longspan


Storepro Heavy Duty Longspan Shelving System provides multi-purpose storage with a clean, modern appearance.

Most commonly fitted with 18mm MDF as the shelf, Storepro also offer an alternative option of wire mesh decking if preferred due to reasons such as fire regulations, ventilation requirements, or food standards.

Each shelf can be obtained using our standard stocked lengths of 900mm, 1200mm, 1350mm, 1800mm, 2400mm and 2743mm.

More so, the longspan shelving beams are designed with a rebated/stepped edge so the board will sit inside the beam and will sit flush with the top of the beam ensuring the board is securely in place and will not move or slip off the beam.

For optimum strength of the shelf level, Storepro can supply additional shelf supports that fit beneath the board from beam to beam. This will stop the board from sagging and bending under heavy load.

Gravity Flow, Carton Live & Pallet Live Racking

Providing the ultimate in pick flow systems, stock can be rotated automatically with a higher loading and lower unloading end.Systems are custom designed to suit the height and weight of stock, available from smaller cartons through to full size pallets. Ideal for first in, first out stock rotation.

Specially constructed lanes of gravity inclined tracks stacked side by side and on top of each other within a pallet rack framework form a solid block of storage that is fed in from one end and unload at the other. Consistent loads are stored in each lane, for the same SKU. Automatic rotation is provided. Rack utilisation is often at 90%.

I interviewed several companies specializing in shelving and I was very impressed with Storepro and in particular Marc Padman Territory Manager for Storepro. He listened and posses a can do mentality..... The Storepro Steel Frame Protector prevents costly rack damage with providing a safeguard from forklifts coming into contact with the open side of your racking uprights.

It is a side protector to each row entry and can be utilised for single rows as well as back to back aisles. This heavy duty steel guard are bolted to the floor for optimum support and therefore takes the impact independently without touching the upright. The Storepro Steel Frame Protector can also be used to partition off areas, guard your valuable machinery and used for designated walkway protection and separation.

Steel Post Protectors

The Storepro Steel Post Protector prevents costly rack damage with providing a safeguard from forklifts to the bottom portion of the upright.

The Post Protector / Column Guard / Smart Guard / Post Bollard is bolted to the floor in front of the uprights/ frame to a height of between 400mm – 600mm depending on exact choice. As the post protector is not connected or attached to the upright it takes impact without damaging the upright/frame.

The Storepro Plastic Post Protector is an original post protector, designed to provide a safe working environment by protecting pallet racking uprights against structural damage.

The Post Protectors design cues have been drawn from the requirements of FEM 10.2.02 regarding impact loads and protection for pallet racking.

Injection moulded from a high impact plastic compound which distributes the collision load to an internal energy absorbing pad.

The Protector is designed to provide protection from any direction and provides a clear entry of the bay without reduces the aisle space. The Plastic Protectors are easily modified on site to fit around bottom beams, and could be double stacked if required for enforced visibility and protection. It’s quick and easy to install with two uniquely designed serrate clips.

Hookover/ Pallet Support Bars are designed to have its top surface approximately flush with the beams; whereas the shelf support is an internal support which works better with rebate/step beams.

Features Storepro Longspan Shelving System provides multi-purpose storage with a clean, modern appearance and a wide range of components allows you to extend Longspan's capabilities even further.

Ideal for Achives, small parts, storing cartons, shops, garages & warehouse.

Most commonly fitted with 18mm MDF as the shelf. Each shelf can be obtained using our standard stocked lengths of 900mm, 1200mm, 1800mm and 2400mm.

Storepro longspan shelving beams are designed with a rebated/stepped edge so the board will sit inside the beam and will sit flush with the top of the beam ensuring the board is securely in place and will not move or slip off the beam.

For optimum strength of the shelf level, Storepro can supply additional shelf supports that fit beneath the board from beam to beam. This will stop the board from sagging and bending under heavy load.
