During the 2007-08 school year, non-proficient students (as indicated by the ITBS reading comprehension subtest) at Taft Middle School will improve their reading comprehension skills as measured by an increase in the percentage of students scoring in the “high” and “proficient” levels on the ITBS reading comprehension assessment.

Check 2007 ITBS results to compare data. Eliminate ITBS as the measure for this goal and

use the SRI instead? This will provide for more frequent assessment so
