• Custom should be part of the standard
• Create and implement modular design and development where –ever possible
• Layout and basic design should all be managed within one theme
• eLearning should look visually appealing and engage the user
• eLearning should include visual communication for usability
• Design should enhance content and not detract
• Users should not have to log a Help desk request for reasonable design changes
• When they say it can’t be done find a way not in the backend
