BoardMemberNeeded!Mike Robinson resigned as a boardmember thisspring due to family commitments. Wallygraciously took his place to finish out the 3-yearterm.ThispositioncomesupthisNovember.Itisa3-yearposition.

Wearelookingforaboardmemberwhoiswillingto head the safety committee, who would beavailable for quarterly board meetings that areusuallyheldfrom6:30–8:30duringaweeknight,andisquicktoansweremailsasdecisionsneedtobemadeorquestionsneedtobeanswered.

William“Wally”WhittingtonWallyisfinishingoutMikeRobinson’sboardterm.Herearejustafewwordstogettoknowhim.WallyandhisfamilyhaveresidedinTablerEstatessinceDecemberof2006.HeisalifelongresidentofMartinsburgandthesurroundingcommunityexceptduringsomeofhismilitaryservicetime.HeisagraduateoftheUniversityofCharleston(BA)andFrostburgSateUniversity(MBA).Wallyalsoholdsnumerousinformationtechnology,cybersecurityandprojectmanagementprofessionalcertifications(CISSP,CISM,CCE,CIH,ITILv3andPMP).HeisaretiredUSAFofficerandservedfor30years.Hecontinuestoworkforafederalgovernmentagency.Hishobbiesincludehunting,targetshooting,supportingtheMusselmanHighSchoolApplemanMarchingBand,vacationingatthebeach,enjoyingfamilytimeandwatchinglocalandcollegesports.WallyhasservedontheHOASafetyCommitteeforseveralyears.

MaintenanceThankyoutoRodneyArmelforpaintingallofthesignsthisspringandsummer.Hehasputalotofworkintothesignssopleasethankhimifyouseehiminpassing.Wecontinuetoneedmaintenancewiththesignsincludingputtingcapsonthetopsandpaintingposts.Wealsostillhaveonemoreholetodigforalightpole.Ifyouhavetimeandtheskilltocompletethesetasks,contactus.
