DHP’s corporate headquarters is located on a two and a half acre site within Badentoy Business Park, Portlethen, Aberdeen.     The Pen-O-Trator™ Reamer Shoe has been specifically designed to aid with the installation of any Casing, Liner or Screen application, where the operator has concerns over potentially difficult wellbore conditions such as swelling shale’s, ledges and washed out areas within the wellbore.     The Pen-O-Trator™ Reamer Shoe can be manufactured to match any casing grade/weight and can be supplied threaded or blank depending on the customer’s requirements. The Integral Float Valve is qualified to API RP 10F CAT IIIC, and installed to meet the customer’s specific application. The EZI-Drill Nose feature is designed to withstand high set down weights when running the casing to T.D. During drill out, the aluminium will break into small chips to avoid “bird-nesting” of the bit to allow for a quick drill-out time. • EZI-Drill Nose - Blank drilled holes in aluminium offering easy break up • One piece milled steel body (all casing grades available) • Integral float valve - Spec API RP 10F CAT IIIC • 5,000 PSI and 10,000 PSI options available • Valve temperature rating to 400°F • Controlled cement batching & compression tested

    The Pilot Guide Shoe is a slick body aluminium nosed guide shoe to aid with the running of any Casing, Liner and Screen applications. Utilized where the operator has concerns over potentially difficult wellbore conditions and a conventional cement nosed float shoe is not considered robust enough.   • NOSE DESIGN & OPTIONS

    Downhole Products offer a variety of noses for Float Equipment and Reamer Shoes. Ezi-Drill Nose The EZI-Drill Nose feature is designed to withstand high set down weights when running the casing to T.D. While being drilled out the aluminium will break into small chips to avoid “bird-nesting” of the bit to allow for a quick drill-out. Eccentric Nose The Eccentric Nose design assists running the casing/liner past well bore obstructions with or without rotation. Typically used in primary cementing applications. Offered as standard on all DHP Pen-O-Trator™ and Pilot Guide Shoes. Can be manufactured in both Aluminium and Phenolic materials. Concentric Nose The Concentric Nose assists running casing/liner in difficult well bore conditions by pathfinding over and around swelling formations. Can be manufactured in both Aluminium and Phenolic materials. Spade Nose The Spade Nose is specifically designed for use on less demanding liner applications where only a setting sleeve is run, the spade nose assists running tool released. When set on bottom the spade nose shoe anchors the liner against the formation allowing the running tool to be rotated to release from the liner.

    The premium cement filled Float Shoe is fitted with DHP’s API RP 10F CAT IIIC qualified valve as standard, the shoe can be ordered with single, double or auto-fill valve options.   • FLOAT SHOE

    Up Jets Side Ports on the Float Shoe allow for a better cement job, offering 2/3rds flow out the nose and 1/3rd out the side ports allowing the flow to circulate round the casing evenly. Up Jets can help with cuttings removal and induce turbulence at the shoe to assist with filter cake removal. Down Jets Side Ports on the Float Shoe allow for a better cement job, offering 2/3rds flow out the nose and 1/3rd out the side ports allowing the flow to circulate round the casing evenly. Down Jets assist if the liner has to be washed to T.D. Double Valve The Float Shoe can be fitted with a Double Float Valve to give added assurance of sealing. Auto-Fill Valve The Auto-Fill option allows the Float Collar to be run with the valve held open to reduce surge on the wellbore when the casing is being run in hole. The valve converts back to a conventional float by increasing the flow rate through the valve to 2.5 bbls/min.

  • FLOAT COLLAR

    The premium cement filled Float Collar is fitted with DHP’s API RP 10F CAT IIIC qualified valve as standard, the collar can be ordered with single, double or auto-fill valve options. Features • Fitted with high flow phenolic Float Valve tested in accordance with API RP 10F CAT IIIC test procedures • Tightly controlled cementing process for valve installation • Cement tested for compressive strength & pressure retention • In-house manufacturing capabilities at global manufacturing facilities Options • Standard 5,000 & high pressure 10,000 PSI valves • Single & double valves available • Auto-fill option available • Ball deflector / ball catcher options Double Valve The Double Valve option is available for both Float Collar and Float Shoe Equipment, to give added assurance of sealing.

  • FLOAT VALVE

    All DHP Float equipment has the API RP 10F Cat IIIC qualified phenolic float valve fitted as standard. The valve has a 5,000psi 400°F rating with a durability/flow rating of 10 bbls/min for 24 hours.   • SCREEN SAVER

    The Screen saver valve has been designed predominately for sand control applications employing inflow control devices (ICD’s) where there is a need to keep debris from entering the sand screens from the annulus side. The valve allows the operator to maintain a hydrostatic imbalance between the screens and the annulus keeping the ICD’s in the closed position preventing debris from entering and plugging the screens, preserving the production efficiency of the screens until they are in the payzone. Developed in conjunction with our Norwegian Distributer “Toolserv AS”. Features • Opening pressure adjustable from 50-180psi • Metal to metal seal tested to 5,000psi • Manufactured to suit sand screen/completion material • Inconel valve components • Flow rate up to 6bbls/min • Every valve assembly is pressure tested prior to load out and supplied with test chart Options • Manufactured for a range of casing sizes • Double or single valve configuration • Bucking of assemblies carried out in house if required

    Downhole Products offers a non-rotating cement plug, with a five wiper fin design, it’s extremely effective for casing wiping. Features • Five wiper fin conventional design for effective casing wiping • Anti-rotational heavy duty teeth prevents plugs from spinning during drill out • Tapered cone and receiver for easy engagement and landing • Standard burst disk for the bottom plug rated to 800 PSI • PDC and roller cone bit drillable Options • Custom pressure burst disk available • Up to 1,600 psi

    The Spir-O-Lizer™ is a die-cast, zinc alloy, solid blade centralizer designed to aid casing running by reducing drag through the cased hole section and promoting good cement placement by torque reduction to allow rotation while cementing. The blade design will create turbulence as cement is pumped into the annulus promoting 360° cement coverage.     The Spir-O-Lizer™ ‘Passive Angled Four Blade’ is a die-cast zinc alloy solid blade centralizer that has been designed specifically for sand control/gravel pack applications. A four bladed unit c/w reduced blade angle to maximise flow area, minimize back pressure and potential pack-off. Features • Positive stand-off protects screen jackets from damage while running in through the well-bore and greatly assists with hole clean-up • Fluid by-pass has been maximised to eliminate pack-off during clean-up and gravel pumping operations • Maximum torque & drag reduction Options • Slip on unit available • Split unit available • Size range 4 ½”- 7”

    The BLADERUNNER™ Ultimate Friction Reduction Spir-o-lizer™ is designed to reduce cased hole running drag and maximise open hole stand-off efficiency. Teflon™ Blade Inserts will reduce as the liner is run through the previous casing string to expose the Spir-O-Lizer™ 360° Blade Form to aid running as the liner enters open hole. Teflon™ Bands in the bore of the centralizer ensure extremely low start up torque when the liner is rotated during the cementing process.   • ECON-O-GLIDER ™

    The Econ-O-Glider™ is a pressed steel spiral blade centralizer that has been specifically designed to centralize casing being run in the less demanding vertical & intermediate wells, where positive standoff is required and torque & drag reduction is not deemed a critical requirement. Features • Positive stand-off spiral blade • Maximum flow-by • Blades tested to withstand 15-20 tons side loading Options • Econ-O-Glider™ ST (Straight Blade) option available • Integral set screw option (ST Only) • Size range 2 7/8” - 30” Riser-Lizer™ The Riser-Lizer™ has been designed to centralize large bore casing inside the Riser where conventional rigid and bow spring are simply not up to the task. It is capable of withstanding extreme lateral/side force loading associated with water currents when centralizing casing between the Wellhead and the Mud Lines. The Riser-Lizer™ can be run to centralize large bore casing below the Wellhead or Mud line Hanger when the build angle of the section being cased can exert high lateral loading to the top of the casing string being run.

Spir-O-Lizer™ Cable Protector Utilizing the zinc alloy, solid blade Spir-O-Lizer™, a channel has been incorporated to both convey and grip smart completion cables. Offering all the centralizing and drag reduction features of the Spir-O-Lizer™ coupled with a high strength anti-rotation mechanism to guard against rotational movement when run in hole. PA4B Cable Protector Utilizing the zinc alloy, solid blade PA4B, a channel has been incorporated to both convey and grip smart completion cables. Offering positive stand-off and excellent drag reduction in more demanding cable dependant applications. Econ-O-Glider™ Cable Protector Utilizing the pressed steel spiral blade Econ-O-Glider™, a channel has been incorporated to both convey and grip smart completion cables. A more economical solution for cable dependant applications where centralization of the completion string is required but no drag issues are expected.

    Bullit Centralizer The Downhole Products Bullit Centralizer was designed to cope with problematic casing exits where conventional centralizers may hang-up/be damaged passing the window. The design eliminates hang-up points and snagging issues by lengthening the unit to allow for a gentle taper along the body of the centralizer but still maintaining good flow-by and stand-off to centralize during cement placement.   • EXPAND-O-LIZER ™ URS

    Downhole Products EXPAND-O-LIZER™ ‘Under Reamed Service’ is a single piece, non-welded bow spring centralizer based on DHP’s field proven Inline centralizer sub cage. Designed for less demanding close tolerance under-reamed sections where the formation is deemed strong enough to handle the surge effect of running traditional or spray-on type stop collars through the previous casing string. Capable of compressing to pass extremely tight restrictions yet able to recover full start O.D. when in the under-reamed section. The URS is rapidly becoming the centralizer of choice in a budget driven market place. • Non-welded, robust one piece design, suitable for onshore installation reducing rig time costs and HSE exposure. • Flexible design significantly reduces running forces through cased and open hole restrictions. • Oversized O.D. provides maximum stand-off in any open-hole section ensuring ideal conditions for uniform cementation and prevention of channelling. • Restoring Forces up to 2 times greater than API. • To be run in conjunction with the Spir-O-Lok™ ‘HD’ heavy duty stop collars c/w engineered high holding force set screws (60% improved holding force on traditional set screws). • Size range 4-1/2” – 20”.

    The Standard EXPAND-O-LIZER™ 'Bow Spring' range are hinged non-welded bow-spring centralizers designed to centralize in less demanding well-bore applications where rotation is not a requirement.     Expand-O-Lizer™ BS ‘Conventional’ A traditional non-welded hinged bow type centralizer designed for less demanding applications where rotation is not required. The hinge allows for installation on casing where welded connectors preclude the use of slip-on type centralizers. Expand-O-Lizer™ BS ‘Positive’ Specially designed flat-bottomed U shaped blades are provided for maximum fluid flow by and required rigidity, the blade form also cuts down on RIH drag due to less surface area contact with the previous casing string it is being run through. Expand-O-Lizer™ BS ‘ Dual Rise’ Semi-rigid bow centralizer withstands high lateral loads and is specially designed with a double bow profile , this design increases contact area for less bow penetration into the formation and aids in complete mud removal while cementing.

  • EXPAND-O-LIZER ™ SS

    Downhole Products EXPAND-O-LIZER™ ‘Standard Service’ is a one-piece semi-rigid bow type centralizer, manufactured from spring steel to allow for a degree of flex when passing gauge hole applications, where the operator is concerned that swelling/shifting shales are present that could impede a solid blade centralized string from getting to T.D. Features • Non-welded, robust one piece design • Suitable for rotation due to axial rigidity • Restoring forces up to 3 times greater than API • Spring steel flexible design significantly reduces running forces and allows easy passage through well-bore obstructions • Gauge hole OD offering maximum stand-off • Suitable for onshore installation reducing rig time costs and HSE exposure Options • Dedicated engineering support team • Centralizer placement / T&D analysis available upon request • Sizes range 2 7/8" - 20" • New sizes designed and tested within two weeks

  • SEAL SAVER

    Seal Saver blade coating was developed to eliminate well-head seal damage caused by oversized / under-reamed application bow spring centralizers compressing through the well head seal area and in turn scoring and damaging the sealing surface. Seal Saver can be applied to any centralizer blade where there is a concern that vulnerable seals/surfaces in the well-head area could be damaged. Developed in conjunction with our Norwegian Distributer “Toolserv AS”. • Fast reliable coating process with facilities in the UK • No heat is required to apply the coating ensuring that the centralizer maintains its manufactured mechanical properties and designed downhole characteristics. • Can be applied to any size and type of centralizer. • Coating can be applied to any downhole wellbore construction component where there is a concern that damage may be caused to susceptible well-head seal areas during run in hole.

  • SPIR-O-LOK ™

    Downhole Products offer a range of stop collars to suit all centralizer options, all stop collars are tested in accordance with API 10D II recommended practices. D.I. Stop Collar The D.I. Stop Collar is designed to be run in conjunction with the Spir-O-Lizer™ range. The collar is fitted with DHP’s high holding force knurled tip Stainless Steel Set Screws. H.D Stop Collar The Heavy Duty Steel Stop Collar is designed to be run in conjunction with the Expand-O-Lizer™ SS Range. This collar offers increased holding force for more demanding applications. Steel Stop Collar The Steel Stop Collar is designed to be a cost effective choice for less demanding applications where high loading of the collar is not envisaged. Hinged Stop Collars Downhole Products Hinged option collars are available in 3 different options. Spiral Nail, Bolted and Set Screw.

  • GRIPPY ™

    Downhole Products GRIPPY™ CABLE CLAMP is a cable clamp designed to fit over the coupling to convey and secure cables and control lines in and out of well-bores quickly, safely and efficiently. Features • Re-usable galvanized cable clamp • Carbon steel construction (ASTM A1011 CS Type B) and can withstand temperatures up to 400°F • Each collar is designed with a rechargeable “Four Point Friction Pad Gripping System” engineered to meet API pipe spec so there is no over-gripping of the cable • The deformation of the “Flat” friction pads during installation prevent damage to the cable / bundle while resisting slipping and rotation • Designed to provide positive protection of cable between coupling and casing which extends the life of the control line/cable • Triple Progressive Indents are designed on both ends of the channel to grip cables more efficiently. The top indent is slightly less pronounced than the last providing uniform compression

  • GRIPPY ™

    Features • Swan Neck Design on the channel allows a smooth transition of cable over the coupling. The channel length aids in eliminating crimping of cable and damage sharp edges associated with the coupling. • Two heavy duty Hinge Pin Flanges make contact with the tubular adding an additional contact point for optimum “Gripping” and protection. • All Hinge Pin seams are welded to enhance overall integrity of the assembly. The hinge design allows for quick and easy installation. Options • Bespoke designs available for various cable configurations. • Available in size ranges from 2 3/8” through to 7” • Configured for both round and flat ESP cables, SSV’s, DHSV’s, chemical injection lines, smart well TEC’s (Tubing encapsulated Capillary) and fibre optics.

    DHP R&D are continually involved in designing and manufacturing products for customer specific applications utilizing many different materials and manufacturing techniques. We continue to introduce new innovative products to our expanding portfolio which already include the market leading Spir-O-Lizer™ solid body zinc alloy centralizer and the Pen-O-Trator™ reamer shoe product. DHP collaborate with multiple manufacturing companies worldwide, and are experts in casting and moulding whether it be Sand casting, Gravity Die casting, Pressure Die casting or by the Lost Wax process in materials such as Zinc, Aluminium and Bronze Alloys, Thermoplastics and Ductile/SG Irons. We also design and manufacture components from machined Steel using the latest CNC machinery available. Steel fabrication work is also undertaken.

    Our Manufacturing & Procurement Team liaise between Sales, Design, Engineering and the Manufacturing Subcontractors to ensure that finished products are made within specification and are available on time to meet customer requirements. Downhole Products boasts wide and varied testing capabilities at our global locations. We operate over 30 CNC lathes, milling machines and boring machines, producing float equipment and subs up to 20”. With a highly skilled and experienced engineering team and machinists, we offer fast and innovative product solutions with a very short turn around time.

    DHP’s investment in ‘cutting edge’ technologies has cut down on our ‘life cycle’ design process. Our Design & Engineering Team utilize the very latest Computer Aided Design (CAD) software affording 3D dimensional modelling.   • CEMENT PLACEMENT

    We utilize the latest software to calculate centralizer placement, casing standoff and torque and drag for ERD or deviated wellbore. CentraDesign calculates the centralizer placement, casing standoff and torque and drag for ERD or deviated wellbore. It decides the minimum number of centralizers and determines their optimum placement. User can flexibly combine "Specify spacing" and "Specify standoff" modes for different sections of casing/liner using either bow spring and/or rigid centralizers. • 3D well path visualization. • Casing flotation and air section length optimization. • Torque and drag calculations. • Casing deflection and centralizer compression. • Latest casing bending models. • Constant spacing, minimum stand-off or optimum designs. • For each pipe, user can specify: • No centralizer. • Constant spacing design. • Minimum stand-off design. • Optimum placement • Combination of spring-bow and rigid centralizers. • Extensive tubular and centralizer database included. • Tripping animation with drag / torque profiles.
