BIO One-on-One Partnering™
As an exhibitor at the BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology, you receive access
to BIO One-on-One Partnering™, which allows your company to have pre-scheduled face-to-
face partnering meetings at the conference. In 2016, the BIO World Congress hosted
1,900+ 25-minute partnering meetings in 3 days.
Get a head start on partnering at the 2017 BIO World Congress by following these three
simple steps:

Take advantage of BIO’s tutorial videos and step-by-step guide to familiarize yourself
with the system’s intuitive interface.
Mark your calendar for May 23rd, when the partnering system opens. Your login
credentials will come from [email protected], so please add this address to your
safe senders list. Once the system is open, you can expect to receive login
credentials within 2-3 business days from receipt of your registration.
PARTNERING TIP: Only meetings that are officially pre-arranged within the BIO One-on-One
Partnering™ system will take place in private meeting booths, and meetings that are
arranged outside of the system are not guaranteed a meeting space. If you are making
meeting arrangements outside the system, we encourage you to send a corresponding
meeting request within the system so that your meetings can be officially scheduled, and
BIO can provide meeting space.

All exhibitors confirmed in early April should have received this document via email. It will
also be available next week on the World Congress page under the Exhibit section in case
you’d like to make online orders.
Items to be mindful of:
International/Domestic Shipping – There are Freeman and Mendelssohn forms in order to
prepare for your shipments to Palais des congrès de Montréal.
New Exhibit Hall Hours/In-Booth Events – Check out our exhibit schedule which now
includes afternoon time specifically for exhibitors to showcase their companies through in-
booth events! These events may include snacks, giveaways, demonstrations, etc. in order to
drive traffic to your booth! The deadline for submissions is May 22, 2017.
Exhibit Display Approvals – For exhibitors with larger spaces (400 sf and up) or using any
structures/signs, please make sure to submit your display for approval so everyone is well
prepared for exhibitor move-in.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FEES, LABOUR AND EQUIPMENT
• Capital Traiteur Montréal Inc. employees are solely responsible for delivering food and beverages and providing service at your booth. • All food and beverages are subject to administration fees and applicable taxes. • Orders will be delivered 15 minutes prior to scheduled time. • Equipment rental is the client’s responsibility. Charges are applicable for any damaged or unreturned equipment.
EXCLUSIVITY
• Capital Traiteur Montréal Inc. holds the exclusive catering rights at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. The client, guests and exhibitors are not authorized to procure any food and beverages (alcoholic or not, including bottled water) from an outside vendor.
• Any request to depart from these exclusivity rights must be addressed to your Banquet Consultant for evaluation by the Administration. • Service requests must be received by your Banquet Consultant no less than 2 weeks prior to the event.
DISTRIBUTION OF SAMPLES
• All requests for sample distribution must be addressed to your Banquet Consultant for evaluation by the Administration. • The products distributed as free samples during an exhibition should not compete or conflict with the sales by Capital Traiteur Montréal Inc. • The quantity authorized as a sample size is 60 ml (2 oz) or less for liquids and 28 g (1 oz) for solids, the equivalent of a bite-size.
BILLING, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
• Menu prices, administration fees and taxes may change without notice. • A payment equivalent to 00% of the estimated cost, along with the signed contract(s), is required at least 5 business days prior to the event. • The payment can be paid by wire transfer or cheque, but a credit card is required as a guarantee for all orders as a guarantee. • Any cancellation received within 48hrs of the event will be charged 100% of the estimated costs.
