What is HIGH FIVE?

HIGH FIVE has been created to help brand programs by training coaches and leaders to have a better understanding and approach to children and their healthy development. HIGH FIVE makes a difference by giving every child the chance to benefit from quality programs. It creates positive experiences in recreation and sport by helping children contribute more effectively as future community leaders.

When will we have it?

The Town of Pincher Creek has become a HIGH FIVE affiliate and are in the process of certifying one of our own this fall to become an instructor trainer. This will allow us to run training courses

in our community for anyone involved with youth. Courses will begin in early January. More

information will be available later in the year. Visit www.highfive.org for more information.

What will it do for our community and children?

HIGH FIVE will make a difference through providing children with ‘the best way to play’. HIGH FIVE makes children feel empowered and re-assured in their programs. The program allows children to: Minimize conflicts and risk, establish and build leadership that is proactive, gain recognition for what they are doing, and gain peace of mind.
