You are invited to one of two Bible studies

every Sunday at

10:15am at the

church. All are

welcome. About the

studies:

The “Digging

Deeper” year-

round Bible study meets in the church

Quilt Room, in the northwest corner of the

lower level. They are currently studying

A Bible study in the church Parlor is

currently focusing on Noah and is led by

Suellen Estes.

New Member Class: Interested in

becoming a member of Peace Lutheran

Church, or know someone who is? We will be

hosting a Basics / New Member Class on

Saturday, August 27, from 9am-noon in the

church parlor. This class is for anyone wishing

to discover the basics of the Christian

Lutheran faith, as well as find out more about

the ministry of Peace. If you would like to

attend or know someone who might be

interested, please contact the church office at

793.9025.

Donation Center Coordinators: If you are a

coordinator for any of the bins in the Peace

Donation Center in the church basement,

please check your bins. Some are quite full

and ready for transport. Thank you.

SCHOOL Notes

Save the Date: Peace School registration is

Wednesday, August 17, from 4-7pm at the

Lawndale Campus.

Golf Outing: The Peace Lutheran School

Athletic Department is hosting its 7th Annual

Panther Prowl Golf Outing on Saturday,

August 27, at the Sawmill Golf Course in

Saginaw. This is the Athletic Department's

biggest fundraiser of the year, which provides

athletic equipment, team uniforms,

renovations and upkeep for the athletic fields,

scoreboards and other needs for the athletic

program at Peace. There are a few ways you

can participate. You can register to be a golfer

that day, you can become a sponsor or you

can donate prizes. Brochures are available at

the school and church offices, or at

www.PeaceSaginaw.org/golf-outing. Details:

Keith Trent, [email protected].

SUPPORTING

PEACE MINISTRIES

LWML Ingathering: There will be an

ingathering for the LWML convention at the

end of July. Peace members are encouraged

to bring new and gently used clothes, sizes

newborn-10 years, and diapers of all sizes.

Kinder Kloset at Christ Lutheran Church in

Boyne City will be the recipient of these items.

If preferred, you can provide gift cards to

Walmart (not Meijer) for our seminaries at St.

Louis and Fort Wayne. Myra Sebele will be in

the gym on Sunday mornings between

services to collect your items, or you may

drop them off in the bin in the lower level of
