ENROLLMENT FEENone
ELIGIBLE DEALERSHIP EMPLOYEES• All Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealership
employees with a valid GMIN and employed as of July 31, 2017
• Participation is voluntary
HOW IT WORKS • Dealer will be automatically enrolled upon
submitting for first spin via the GM earnPOWER website: gmearnpower.com
• Eligible dealership employees will earn one spin for every VIN with an eligible accessory sold over the counter during the Program Period
• Each earned spin will have the opportunity to win up to $300 in GM earnPOWER points. Payout Amounts are $10, $20, $40, $100 or $300
• The gmearnpower.com website will be available to process spins through December 1, 2017
• Spin Requirements:
− Participant must enter the eligible over-the-counter Accessory sale into the GM IOP system
− Participant must enter the corresponding valid VIN into the gmearnpower.com website
− VIN entered with IOP submission must match VIN entered via gmearnpower.com website
− Spins will be awarded on gmearnpower.com after required information is confirmed
• Award Payment
− Dealership employees will see earnings reflected in their GM earnPOWER account within 48 hours of a successfully completed spin
ELIGIBLE ACCESSORY SALES • All GM Accessories, including Associated
Accessories in the following categories: Floor Liners, Tool Boxes, Truck-Bed Covers (Tonneau Covers), Bedliners, Bed Rugs and Bed Mats. LPOs are not eligible
• New Floor Liners released during Program Period are eligible
ELIGIBLE DELIVERIES• Only over-the-counter Accessory sales qualify
• LPOs are NOT eligible
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT • To support Accessories sales, participating dealers
agree to purchase a minimum pre-load quantity of 10 eligible accessories. Contact your local Accessory Distributor Installer (ADI) for a full list of eligible part numbers. One-time pre-load quantity must be purchased by August 15, 2017
SALES, SERVICE AND PARTS MANAGERS ELIGIBILITY AND AWARDS• Sales, Service, and Parts Managers will earn GM
earnPOWER points in the amount of 20% of the total awards earned during the override period (i.e., a 20% override). For example:
− If the total spin earnings at the dealership were $1,000 in GM earnPOWER points, then the Manager(s) would earn $200 in GM earnPOWER override points
• Overrides will be allocated to the Manager(s) associated with the Participant earning the spin. For example:
− Sales Consultant claims will apply to the Sales Manager(s) override, Service Consultant claims will apply to the Service Manager(s) override, and Parts Consultant claims will apply to the Parts Manager(s) override
• If there is more than one Manager per department, the override will be shared equally among department managers. For example:
− Sales Consultant spin earnings totaled $1,000 in GM earnPOWER points and the dealership has two Sales Managers. Sales override is calculated to be $200 and each Sales Manager receives $100 (e.g. $200/2)
• Overrides will be issued as GM earnPOWER points directly into Manager GM earnPOWER accounts (i.e. no spins will apply)
• Overrides will be calculated and issued monthly during the Program Period
• In the event a Sales, Service, or Parts Manager executes a spin based on an ineligible vehicle delivery, the 20% override will be forfeited
• The Manager's GMIN must be on the OWB delivery record and the Manager must be on the “Maintain Personnel” at gmprograminfo.com to be eligible for awards
TAX PROVISIONS• Liability for federal, state or other taxes imposed
upon a reward is the sole responsibility of the dealer and/or the dealer employee, not GM. Program Headquarters will report all rewards to the appropriate taxing authorities as appropriate
APPEAL PROCESS• It is the responsibility of the dealer and the
dealer employee to review the reports for accuracy and completeness. Preliminary Program results will be posted in the “Sales Team Bonus Detail Report” on the GM earnPOWER site on October 1, 2017. All appeals regarding these preliminary Program results must be submitted to your Zone Manager for consideration within 7 days of the end of the Program Period. Dealers must retain a copy of all appeal correspondences. GM shall have the final decision in its sole discretion on all appeals from dealers
General Motors reserves the right to cancel, amend or revoke this program at any time.
ACCESSORIES REWARDS PROGRAM RULESAUDITING • GM reserves the right to audit all dealer records
supporting any vehicle delivery and to disqualify participants in the event of any irregularity. Sufficient dealership records must be kept to evidence the sale or lease of all vehicle deliveries and all Accessories sales claimed under the Program. GM also reserves the right to charge back to dealers any rewards improperly paid or awarded to dealers or other dealership personnel
• GM will monitor situations involving dealer owners or dealer operators who own or control more than one dealership. In the event of any sales imbalance based on sales history, or any delivery reporting or other irregularity, GM may make adjustments in Program Objectives, charge back any rewards under the Program or take other action deemed by GM to be equitable or appropriate under the circumstances
• In all matters relating to the interpretation and application of any rules of this Program, the decision of GM shall be final
• GM will audit all retail deliveries of eligible units as reported by the dealership via OWB. At the time of reward determination, all return-to-stock vehicles that have not been re-delivered will be ineligible
DEALER CHANGE • Any financial arrangements between incoming/
outgoing dealers related to this Program will be a matter for adjustment solely between the incoming/outgoing dealers, and GM shall assume no responsibility with respect thereto. GM will reward any prize to the eligible dealership in place at the time the prize is awarded under the Program as detailed in the rules. Dealerships must be active on the last day of the Program Period to be eligible for rewards
REALIGNING/ADDING/DELETING DIVISIONS • Dealers that enter into or terminate a GM Dealer
Sales and Service Agreement to sell motor vehicles for GM during the Program Period are not eligible to participate in the Program. Dealers that experience a realignment of eligible divisions, add any eligible divisions or delete any eligible divisions during the Program Period will not be eligible. Dealers may request an exception in these situations. GM shall determine, in its sole discretion, whether any exception will be granted and what objectives would apply. the dealer operator and an authorized GM representative must both consent to the exception in writing
AMENDMENT AND CANCELLATION• GM reserves the right to cancel, amend or revoke
this Program at any time for any reason or no reason
OTHER RULES• All GM general guidelines and definitions of terms
relative to incentive programs that were supplied to your dealership apply to this Program. Refer to the GM Dealer Sales Allowance and Incentive Manual
