The Weather:The best time to visit Thailand is between

November and February ( Because it rains the least and its no too hot!)Also most of Thailand's festivals are on around this time so that would be good fun.

The hot season is from March to May depending on whether your in the North or South temperatures can reach up to 45 degrees Celsius.

But don't get to excited, the rainy season runs from July to October, Southern parts of Thailand get up to 2400 millimetres of rain every year.

Elephant Nature Park is a 800 hectare sanctuary and rescue centre for elephants. It is located in Northern Thailand , Chiang Mai Province. It was founded in the 1990s and its aim is to take care of endangered and distressed elephants from all over Thailand.

The Grand Palace is located in Bangkok and is the home of the Kings of Siam since 1782

Although the King doesn't live there anymore it is still used for state events and royal ceremonies.

Chiang Mai Zoo is a 200 acre zoo in Chiang Mai. Its just north of the huge University. It WAS the first commercial zoo of Thailand. It was established on 16 June 1977.

There is also two aquariums, one of which is the largest in Asia.

The zoo currently has 400 different animal species and is home to Thailand's only rhino.

The zoo also recently introduced two new pandas to the zoo.

The Siam Park City is an amusement park and water park in the Khan Na Yao district in Bangkok. It opened on November 1980.

Its kinda like Disney Land but Asian.Some of the rides are known to be pretty

“hard core” and one person died and 6 were injured when the Indiana slide malfunctioned in 2007, also 24 children were injured when a joint broke loose on the Super spiral waterslide.

There are total of 40,717 Buddhist temples in Thailand and 33,902 are in use.

The temple of the Emerald Buddha is Thailand's primary and most important temple.

Thailand is well known for its buildings, there unusual statues and interesting architecture.

Wat: Is a particular lay-out of a building usually many small low buildings built close together with very few storeys.

Roof Forms: Multiple roof tiers are important on a Thai temple. Usually only ornate when on temples, palaces and important public buildings. Most buildings have 2/3 tiers.

Inside these buildings, they are decorated with Buddha's and many other ancient statues.
