We are in need of four volunteers to maintain our Church Cleaning teams at full strength. The Church is cleaned on Saturday mornings a er the 9:00AM Mass. OPENING RALLY FOR THE FALL 40 DAYS FOR LIFE CAM-PAIGN IS THIS SUNDAY—2-3 PM, one block north of E Mill Plain Blvd on NE 116th Ave, across the street from the Planned Parenthood Abor on Center. Join fellow parishioners as we begin 40 days of prayer, fas ng and outreach to end abor on, offering life-affirming alterna ves, with a peaceful, prayerful presence at the Vigil Site. Abor on clinics in 375 ci es are about to be targeted with 40 days of con nuous prayer during the 40 Days for Life FALL CAMPAIGN. The FALL CAMPAIGN official-ly begins on September 27th, and finishes on Novem-ber 5th. During this me, thousands of pro-lifers will visit abor on clinics for a me of concentrated, peace-ful prayer.
“We are very excited about the largest 40 Days for Life campaign ever,” 40 Days for Life President Shawn Car-ney told LifeSiteNews. Carney said the campaign will be in 375 ci es around the world. “We have now seen 89 abor on facili es close their doors,” he said.

All your dona ons totaling over $1,140 were sent to Knights of Columbus Chari es--United Disaster Relief to benefit vic ms suffering from damages caused by Hurricanes Harvey and Ir-ma. Our Knights Council donated the food and sup-plies, and a parishioner donated the beer, so all your dona ons will benefit hurricane vic ms.

The Knight of Columbus of the Proto-Cathedral will be restar ng their monthly breakfast this weekend, Sep-tember 24, a er all 3 Masses. Because of the enormity of the hurricane disasters the net proceeds of the breakfast will go to hurricane relief. These funds will be a part of the na onwide Knights of Columbus hurricane relief effort and 100% of the funds will go to those in need.
