T-439 L00 Bridge Replacement, Frenchcreek Township, Venango County The existing single-span steel through (pony) truss bridge with an open-grid steel deck that carries Township Road T-439 (Dean Road) over Little Sandy Creek will be replaced with a single‐span Pre-stressed Concrete Spread Box Beam bridge. The structure will consist of an 8” thick reinforced concrete deck, 3’6” high vertical wall barrier, concrete approach slabs, and updated approach guide rail. The existing single lane bridge will updated to two lanes with a proposed curbtocurb width of 240”. There will be no change to the horizontal alignment, the vertical alignment will raise the road profile to facilitate the hydraulics of the proposed bridge by maximizing the opening. Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2024. A detour is currently in place and will remain in place during construction. It is approximately 1.5 miles long traveling on S.R. 3024 (Valley Road) and S.R. 3022 (Raymilton Rd.). There are both temporary and permanent RightOfWay takes required for the completion of the project. If you have special concerns or questions, please contact the following: Gregory W.
