Our Current Engagements in CIS Region:Azerbaijan

• Synergy is advising Ministry of Energy, Azerbaijan and European Bank for Reconstruction and

Development (EBRD) in developing a framework for future competitive procurement schemes

for renewable energy projects and implementing the first Renewable Energy Auctions in the

country.

Uzbekistan

• Synergy is advising Government of Uzbekistan in the competitive tender of a wind project

and for developing a framework for tendering future projects on a competitive basis.

• Synergy is advising Government of Uzbekistan and Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the

procurement of a 100 MW Solar PV in Sherabad, Uzbekistan.

Kazakhstan

• Synergy is the lead advisor of the consortium advising Government of Kazakhstan under

EBRD contract for the development of the framework for the procurement of Wind Power

Projects in Kazakhstan under international competitive mechanism.

Georgia

• Advising Government of Georgia and EBRD for the Support for the Implementation of

Renewable Energy Auctions in Georgia.

• Master’s in Finance

• 10+ Years of relevant work experience

• Experience with international banks, developers /

investors/ fund or similar financial and corporate

advisory institutions will be an asset

• Experience in Infrastructure / Project Finance is

preferred

• Understanding of Project Finance & PPP structures

• Being able to review projects / finance documents to

assess commercial and contractual implications

• Having strong relationships in CIS Region with

government entities, developers, lending institutions,

other stakeholders

• Being able to develop great relationships with client

Transaction Delivery and Project

Management

1. Lead on-ground delivery of transactions,

coordinate with all stakeholders

• Review / understand complex Financial

Models, describe outputs of scenario and
