Prior to his role at Synchrony Capital, Eric worked for Fidelity Investments on the Firms Global Asset Management team. Additionally, Eric worked as an Analyst for State Street Corporation, where he focused on the valuations of derivatives, equities, ETFs and private equity investments. Eric earned his B.S. from Suffolk University in Government and Economics and he attended Boston University’s graduate program for Economics and Mathematical Finance. He is a member of the Boston Hedge Fund Group and International Association of Financial Engineers. Synchrony Capital has received over 7 awards and various recognitions in the past 3 years; including “Best for Absolute Returns Derivative Based Solutions” and “Best Newcomer in Managed Futures” by Wealth & Finance International Magazine. Partner, Chief Executive Officer

Paul is an American physician and scientist. As a Founder and Managing Partner of Synchrony Capital, LLC, Paul focuses on sourcing, evaluating and structuring new investment opportunities across the life science spectrum. Paul oversees the scientific valuation of investment opportunities from primary sources, including peer-reviewed journals, attendance at scientific conferences and technical society networking.

Paul’s research background was in the fields of research pharmacology, human and molecular genetics, cell biology and protein analysis. Paul earned a Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophysics in the multidisciplinary research field of Neuroimmunology. A postdoctoral research fellowship involved modeling of cellular markers of neurological disease. During his medical degree, Paul’s research extended to human genetics and chronic disease. He also has developed mathematical principles of predictive modeling for the analysis of human neurophysiology.

Paul is a member of the Boston Hedge Fund Group and International Association of Financial Engineers.

Partner, Vice President Business Development / Investor Relations

Michael brings over 25 years of experience in government and corporate business to Synchrony Capital and will be responsible for focusing on business development and client relations. When you join the Synchrony Capital fund, you will almost certainly be forming a relationship with Michael. He brings an extensive array of experience in client communications, leadership, and market development to the fund.

A graduate of West Virginia University, Michael left his home state for Washington, DC and served in the administrations of Senators Bill Bradley and Jay Rockefeller in a variety of capacities. He began his transition to the private sector by working with trade associations before beginning an accomplished career in pharmaceutical industry, working for industry leaders GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer. Outside work, Michael support of variety of advocacy efforts on behalf of patients living with neurological disorders.
