SWISS-SCHOOL AT THAICRAFT FAIR

ThaiCraft Fair Trade (World-Fair-Trade Organization) is a social enterprise, providing village artisans from all over Thailand access to real-life markets by applying Fair Trade principles. Helping village artisans achieve self-reliance Preserving and keeping alive traditional craft

knowledge Promoting Fair Trade practice

The Fair takes place every two weeks in the City of Bangkok and is visited by Thai- and International audiences. Swiss-School, since a few years, takes the opportunity to offer the Kid`s-Corner activities at the Fair occasionally. This is a great chance for us to support the ThaiCraft and also do some advertising for the Swiss-School. (In the last years some students from the School volunteered at the Fair by helping with translation problems or packing at the cashier.) And of course (-) we always use the opportunity to do some shopping at the Fair - hand-woven silk, recycled products, stainless steel, jewelry . Our activities at the kid`s corner are well accepted by the children:
