It is caused by Virus Influenza Type A H1N1.
It was identified that the virus came from swine, from Mexico.
But now, it transfers from Human to Human.
The mode of transmission are through Droplets and Fomites.
This has an incubation period of 1-7 days to develop symptoms.
People spread the infection by cough or sneeze.
The virus is Fragile and it gets killed as the droplets dried off.
The virus may spread upto 2-3 mts.
Throat swab test may be taken.
Symptoms. . .
• High fever.
• Running nose.
• Cough.
• Shortness of breathing.
• Throat pain.
• Rashes on skin.
Prevention . . .
• Maintaining Personal Hygiene.
Covering nose & mouth while cough and sneeze.
Wash your hands regularly with a soap.
Gargle with salt water
Avoid over crowding
Cleaning your AC filters.
Avoid direct contacts.
Use face masks.
Drinking Hot / warm water.
