We are SEVEN! It’s amazing how time flies when you arehaving fun, and we are having fun! We want to thank allour customers because without you we would not continue to

be here.

We’ve expanded - well, sort of. It’s only a couple of square feet,but you will notice as you step in the front door. We have alsorenovated a wall on the west side at the store to allow morespace for all those totally cool things that quilters need to

have.

On a sadder note, we lost a four legged member of our storefamily this summer. Duffy, the smallest and oldest of our threequilt store dogs left us for that quilt store in the sky. She hadlived a great life, well beyond her life expectancy. But none ofthat, as we know, makes it easy to lose a loved one. We will

miss her forever.

We have an award

winning quilter inour store (no, notBonnie). OurMillennium long arm

quilting machine, which wechristened Ruby when shearrived in July, 2007,garnered a blue ribbon at arecent Salt Spring fair for “BestMachine Quilting”. We areproud that our customers areso satisfied with the quiltingthat is done by Ruby that theywill enter their projects incompetition. Good newsobviously travels since ourperiodic long arm quilting saleshave enabled our quilters totake some of those quilt topsout of their stash and get themquilted. We continue to offer atwo week turnaround, and are

constantly expanding ourselection of quilting patterns.

Round Robin Quilt

Sweet Pea Quilting is hosting our first ever round robin quilt

class. We’re making it fun and easy. We have chosen a pattern

and using batik fabrics, this wallhanging will work with any dé-

cor. You will make your own centre block to set your ‘colour’

palette and then each month you will drop off and pick up till

we are done.

Join us every Tuesday where we will demo a tip, technique or small project.The idea here is that we will show you how to do many different quilting techniques or smallprojects.
