Thank you for your interest in the 2011 Swansea in Bloomcompetition. Once again we are encouraging local residents,communities and businesses to enter this popular competition, toshow off their gardening skills and breathe more life into Swanseathrough floral displays.

The Swansea in Bloom competition has been running for 18 yearsand was set up by a voluntary group to encourage more floral

displays to make Swansea a more beautiful place tolive, work and visit.

It’s easy to get started and you don’thave to be an expert gardener toenter. It’s free and once we havereceived your form we will send youa starter pack full of tips and ideasto help you on your way.

local business or family member bynominating them for the competition?

The Green Gardener AwardThe Swansea in Bloom Group and the City and County of Swansea strongly believe inenvironmentally friendly gardening so we canensure a good quality of life for futuregenerations.

We encourage entrants to use environmentallyfriendly practises wherever possible includingcomposting, water collection and wildlifegardening.

All judges will be looking out for these gardening practises and we will be rewardingthe ‘Greenest Gardener’ with an award!
