challenging circumstances. "The team consistently works hard, putting theirwhole heart into the department and positions to care for patients. Theyroutinely go above and beyond to ensure each patient has as good of anexperience as possible while undergoing cancer treatment," says AprilSpanbauer, manager of Sletten Cancer Institute, Bladder Treatment, andNephrology. We see this whole-hearted approach not only in the daily care they take ofpatients but also in the extras, such as passing out birthday cards with Cafegift certificates, in the raffle of a gift basket to thank patients for undergoingCOVID-19 screenings, in ringing the bell to celebrate the end of treatment, and so much more. "The Radiation Oncology Team is exactly what our hospital is all about, reallycaring for patients the best way possible," April adds. "It is what we do best, and it is people like them who make it a reality. Thank you, RadiationOncology Team! You're all remarkable, and Benefis is so fortunate that youchoose to work here!"
