European PROGRES provides support to the sector of SMEs and agricultural cooperatives in order to implement and obtain certificates or re-

certificates for international quality management standards and food safety standards. In this way, the development of 31 small and medium

enterprises and one agricultural cooperative is supported by creating potential for business growth and enhanced quality of products and services.

The result of these activities will be the introduction of the following international standards: Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), Hazard

Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), British Retail Consortium (BRC), Integrated Management System (IMS), Food Safety Management

System (ISO 22000), Good Agricultural Practices Standard (GLOBAL GAP),Food Safety System Certification (FSSC 22000), standard for production

and preparation of food in line with Islamic religious practices (HALAL), German standard for production of prefabricated construction materials

(RAL GZ-422/1).
