Supplier InstructionSupplier Request for Information (SRI)
UTAS Supplier Portal - https://suppliers.utc.com/Pages/Home
Click on the Link for “Supplier Request for Information” on the UTAS supplier portalhomepage
Note: If the SRI link is not available on your homepage, it means that you do not have access to the SRI system. Inorder to obtain access you would need to contact your Portal administrator.
Enter your supplier assigned Vendor Code
Note: You will only have to select a vendor code if your company has more than one. For suppliers who only haveone code, you will be brought directly to the main SRI screen.
Submitting a SRI
Click on the “Submit New SRI” button
Complete all of the required fields on the SRI form
Note: Be sure to click the “Add Part Number” button after entering the UTAS part number and cage code. Thishardcodes the data into the part list. The SRI application will generate an “Invalid part number” error if this is not done,
not allowing the supplier to submit the request.
After all required fields are completed, please attach any applicable documents you mayhave and click “submit” in order to submit the SRI.
Note: Once the SRI is submitted a screen will pop up with the new SRI number associated with your request. This letsyou know that the request was submitted successfully.
Viewing a SRI Response
Select the SRI record you wish to view and click “View/Download SRI”
Note: SRIs with a status of “UTAS – In Process”, “UTAS – Pending Change”, or “Pending Classification” will not be ableto be viewed by the supplier as they are still currently in process internally with UTAS.
A pop-up window will appear with a copy of the closed SRI including UTAS’ response.You may choose to download a copy to your computer by clicking the “Download” button
at the bottom of the page.
To view any associated attachments with a closed SRI – Return to the SRI main pageand select the SRI in question. Once selected click the “Select/Update” Button.
Click the “Manage Attachments” button at the top of the page. A pop-up window willappear with any associated attachments.
Resubmitting a SRI
Select the “Rejected” SRI you wish to resubmit and click the “Select/Update” button at thebottom of the page.
Note: Only “Rejected” SRIs have the ability to be resubmitted.
Add any additional information/attachments requested from UTAS. Once the form hasbeen updated with additional information click the “Update” button at the bottom of the
page. A pop-up window will appear stating you submitted the request successfully.
