BIG FARM TRACTOR & GRAIN DUMPER
From the plans of the Toymaker Press, comes the farm fleet to support the combines. The fleet consists of 6 big farm tractors with front loader and grain dumper.
Let’s take a look at each set of models that were built. First, we look at the Poplar Fleet.
You will note some very minor changes to the great plans developed by Toymaker Press. We added the warning triangles to the back of the equipment and top trim piece to the grain dumper.
First equipment set was painted poplar with yellow accents. Light green paint was used on the grain dumper’s vertical battens. The base color is dark green foliage color
Here is a side view picture and shot of the engine compartment.
This is the poplar model using natural stain with walnut accents. The hubs changed from yellow to silver in this model. Wheels were stained using dark walnut.

Now it is time for the oak boys. They did not want to be out done.
The oak was stained using gunstock. Final finish is high gloss polyurethane.
The final two versions completed used cherry wood as the base with maple accents.
