ADOPTION: In this week’s Explorer, the Bible lesson theme is:
“They that overcome by faith in Jesus Christ will reign with Him in
eternity.”
The term ADOPTION is used frequently in the Bible. Paul used the term to
indicate the permanent change when one accepts Jesus as Savior, a
permanent change as with an adoptive child. The Answers Bible Curriculum
has a good explanation of the process and permanency of it in the Roman
World. I will have some copies if anyone would like to read it.

The book Lulla Bible has been placed in Sunday’s worship in honor of Jesse Lee Scott, IV, born June 9, 2015. Congratulations to

Thank you...
Thanks so much for the cards, letters, memorials,
visits, & most importantly the prayers during the
recent death of my dad. It is tough to go through
such an event. I could not imagine going through it
without Christian friends & family.

For you, brethren, have been
called to liberty; only do not
use liberty as an opportunity
for the flesh, but through love
serve one another. For all the
law is fulfilled in one word,
even in this, “You shall love
your neighbor as yourself.”
Gal. 5:13-14 (NKJV)

while doing good, for in due
season we shall reap if we do
not lose heart. Therefore, as
