Adults Bereavement Support SeriesNavigating the Rivers of Grief - This seven-week support series follows the “Roads to Healing” introductory session. It is a structured support group that includes sharing, reviewing the grief process, understand-ing emotions and self-esteem needs, discussing transformation and answering the question “Where do I go from here?” Participants are asked to commit to the entire series and to be willing to discuss their own loss within the group setting. Presented in partnership with the Edmonton Healing Centre for Grief and Loss.

Roads to Healing - This is a two hour presentation that gives an overview of how grief is experienced and introduces ideas on how to deal with one’s own experience. Presented in partnership with the Edmonton Healing Centre for Grief and Loss, this is the first part of a multi-week series of workshops (Navigating the Rivers of Grief).

Registration required. Please call 780-454-1194.

In First Pages, 200 words from your anonymous manuscript are read in front of an audience. An expert panel provides feedback, indicating at what point your work might be rejected.

While not for the faint-of-heart, First Pages is a valuable way to assess the need for revisions. Whether you submit your work or just want to listen, join EPL Featured Writer, Joan Marie Galat, as she moderates what is sure to be a lively session on writing and publishing. Following the event, enjoy mingling with fellow writers and a book signing with panel participants.Registration is recommended, but not required.
