• Mary Basham for Barbara Ottinger who had thyroid surgery this past Monday• Brandon Elliott for his mother, Aimee Elliott; as she is the primary caregiver for her mother who suffers from Alzheimers• The Newton family for Lucas as he leaves for ACU and for the family as they enter this new stage in life• Michelle Kennedy for Maurice Trimble, Jr. while he is away on business and for their children as they return to school• Shawn Hicks for his father, Jerry Hicks, to have the faith and strength to continue his fight against addiction• Brandon Elliott for his great-aunt, Lois Cavasos, who is in her 90’s and having multiple health issues• Laura Hendrix remains in Regent Care at Oakwell Farms and would appreciate visits • JM Hardwick is now at Fisher House with his family and will continue outpatient rehab• Linda Hardy’s ex son-in-law, Matt Rowan, and his wife were among those who lost their lives in the hot air balloon

Sunday Night Fire will resume Sunday, August 21st, on the 4th floor with a special back-to-school blessing. 

Sunday Night Fire and the “Back-To-School Bash” is Sunday, August 28th, in the Fellowship Hall. The cost is $5 per person for burgers and visitors are free. This is for the whole youth group! 

Bible class is this Wednesday night on the 4th floor! Refreshments will be served at our Solid Rock Cafe following class. 

• We are now signing up teachers and assistants for all classes, including Kid’s Park, for the fall quarter. Please go to www.mackidz.org to volunteer

• Preschool PAC’N is today at 4:30 p.m.

• Look Out Kindergarten is Sunday, August 14th, at 5:00 p.m.

• SPARKS begins on Sunday, September 4th

• KidsPark opens on Sunday, September 4th

Registration for the annual MacArthur Park Family Retreat begins today. The retreat will be held September 9th - 11th at HEB Echo Valley. All families are invited to attend. Children under 18 years old must attend with a parent. Come join us for a relaxing time of fellowship and worship. All participants must provide their own transportation. We ask that you pay the small registration fee in advance.

Registration this year will be online and on our CHURCH APP beginning today. Make plans to attend!

Mental Wellness MinistryPathways to Hope Conference, August 26 - 27th, Tobin Center  The Mental Wellness ministry wants you to be aware of a major conference occurring here in San Antonio in August focused on Mental Health issues.  Speakers from around the country are coming here to encourage and help families and health professionals to understand and cope with mental wellness situations.  This is free, but you have to register at www.pathwaystohope.net.
