Commemoration of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation Ecumenical Prayer Service

All are invited to our Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Sunday, April 2nd, at 3 p.m. for an Ecumenical Prayer Ser-vice. Co-sponsored by the Diocese of Las Cruces-represented by Bishop Oscar Cantú, and the Rocky Mountain Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America-represented by Bishop Jim Gonia, this service will commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. On Saturday, April 8th, beginning at 8 a.m., the church will be cleaned in preparation for Holy Week and Easter. Volunteers are need-ed, so if you have a couple of hours to spare on that particular Saturday, we invite you to join us. We hope to be done by confessions at 10 a.m., but we ask you to please bear with us if it takes a little longer, as cleaning time and confessions may overlap. Thank you!

First Friday Adoration & Stations of the Cross Jesus invites you to spend an hour with Him. We will have all-day adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on First Friday, April 7, 2017. Please sign up for an hour of prayer and reflection. Join our parishioners who have volunteered to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Holy Rosary at the top of each hour. Stations of the Cross will begin at 5:30 p.m. and Mass in Spanish will be cel-ebrated at 6:00 p.m.

PRE-BAPTISMAL CLASS Our next pre-baptismal class series for parents and godparents will be held on Monday and Tuesday, April 3 and 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the parish hall. Please call the parish office to pre-register for the class and visit the parish office to register for the baptism. To avoid delays we encourage you to register and bring in documents as early as possible. Registration and paperwork must be completed in the office by Thursday, April 20th. The next baptism date is April 29-30.

Last Stations of the Cross & Meager Meal If you haven't been able to come to Stations of the Cross with Meager Meal, it’s not too late! Our last one will take place this Friday, April 7th at 5:30 p.m. Because it is First Friday, the meal with follow at 6:30 after First Friday Mass. The meatless soup meal will be hosted by Historical Society, Marriage Prepara-tion, and Youth Confirmation.
