Guidance is provided for those who are involved in the repair and maintenance of asbestos cement pipe. It is presumed that personnel attending this course are proficient in the day-to-day practice of repairing and maintaining asbestos water and sewer pipes. Materials included.

Asbestos Inspector $599Get a general overview of the issues an asbestos worker

may encounter on asbestos abatement projects. Meets all requirements for SCDHEC licensing and EPA AHERA/ASHARA accreditation for inspectors who are involved with identifying the presence of asbestos in buildings, assessing the physical characteristic of the ACBM and determining the condition for any future potential disturbance. Asbestos O and M Worker $299Maintenance personnel involved with repair and

maintenance activities that may disturb asbestos containing or building materials that are presumed to contain asbestos during their normal work activities are encouraged to take this course. This meets all requirements for SCDHEC licensing and EPA AHERA/ASHARA accreditation for work in schools K-12. This course also satisfies the requirements for the OSHA Class III worker and OSHA Competent Person training. Participants will conduct hands-on asbestos glove bag removal exercises and be limited to the amount of disturbance that can be contained in a 60” x 60” waste or glove bag. The student is required to perform hands-on training and successfully complete a multiple choice exam with a score of 70 or greater. Materials included.

Asbestos Supervisor $799Gain a general overview of the issues involved with the

day-to-day management of asbestos abatement projects. This meets all requirements for SCDHEC licensing and EPA AHERA/ASHARA accreditation for supervision of asbestos abatement projects. This course also is the prerequisite for the NIOSH 582 air monitoring course which is required for licensing by SCDHEC to perform air monitoring of abatement projects. Course also satisfies the requirements for the OSHA Competent Person training. It provides participants with 14 hours of hands-on classroom experience and requires the successful completion of a multiple choice exam with a score of 70 or greater. Materials included.

For courses beginning with the code XLOG 501, learn the correct care and use of forklift trucks. Included in the program is the OSHA Powered Industrial Truck Standard, 29CFR1910.178, which covers forklift design limitations, uses in material handling, pre-operation check, operator skills and accident prevention.
