Wood Formed Systems

Meadow Burke Snapties are manufactur-

ered with anti-turn deformations and hex

heads to ease removal. Snapties are

available in many stock and custom

sizes with plastic or metal spreaders.

Snapties are manufactured for standard

2,250 lbs. and heavy duty load ratings

3,250. Meadow Burke Snapties should

always be used with Meadow Burke

heavy duty snap tie wedges.

Modular Panel Forming Systems

Loop ties are designed for use with mod-

ular forming systems. It is available in

many stock and custom sizes in standard

and heavy duty loads. For ultimate safety

use Loop Ties with Meadow Burke

wedge bolts.

Meadow Burke coil tie products are

some of the most economical and versa-

tile forming products available. The

system consist of a wide variety of stock

and custom coil wire inserts, continuous

One-sided FormingThe HD-24 Angle Weld Bracket is de-

signed to provide adjustability for one-

sided forming applications. The bracket

is available in 1/2”, 3/4" and 1" thread

diameters and allows for 110° of maxi-

mum swing. The Euro Angle Weld

Bracket is available in 15 mm and 20

mm threaded diameters and allows for a

110º of maximum swing.

Both brackets can be welded to any steel

construction member using proper weld-

ing techniques.

Anchorage / Connection InsertsOur comprehensive line of NC threaded

inserts are designed for versatility and

manufactured to efficiently distribute bolt

stresses into the concrete. Testing and

field use have proven their performance.

We also offer a complete line of coil tie

inserts, which include cantilever form

anchors, coil loop inserts, thin slab

inserts, wing nut inserts, coil tie inserts,

coil lifting inserts, saddle hangers, and

much more.

Rebar Splicing SystemsMeadow Burke Standard Lok rebar splicing

system is typically used as a dowel bar re-

placement to eliminate protruding rebar. This

versatile system is designed to accommodate

a wide variety of forming applications to elim-

Keyway Splicing BoxThe Keyway Splice Box is a non-me-

chanical lap splice connection system

which replaces form penetrating dowel

bars at construction joints. A quick and

easy to install method of maintaining

continuity of reinforcement at construc-

tion joints in concrete, the Keyway Splice

Box consists of a galvanized steel cas-

ing with a dimpled surface to provide

an effective concrete bond. Pre-bent

bars are housed within the casing and

are enclosed by a protective cover.

Burke Lockable DowelThe Burke Lockable Dowel has been

designed for use at temporary move-

ment joints, most commonly found in

post-tensioned concrete frames. These

dowels allow initial shrinkage of the con-

crete to take place and are then locked

in position with a mechanical plate and

a controlled amount of epoxy resin. The

locked dowels continue to transfer shear,

but prevent further movement taking

place.

Double Shear DowelA unique solution that allows longitudinal

movement and transmission of trans-

verse force through building joints.

Simply nail the sleeve component to the

formwork and insert the dowel unit into

the sleeve. The engineered nature of the

two components ensures precise align-

ment vital where movement is required.

Used in concrete slabs, decks, columns,

beams, it benefits both the precast

concrete market and the cast-in-place

market.

Pencil Rod and Tightener

The RD-24 Mild steel Pencil Rod is avail-

able in 1/4" diameter cut to 10', 20' or

other specified length or in coils of ap-

proximately 600 feet (100 lbs.). 3/8" and

1/2" Pencil Rods are also available on

special order. The RD-25 Pencil Rod

Tightener is used in conjunction with the

Pencil Rod/form clamp assembly to draw

the formwork into position and hold it se-

curely while the rod clamp set screw is

tightened. The Tightener is available in

1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" diameters to match

the pencil rod diameter being used.

Meadow Burke manufacturers She Bolt

and taper tie systems are available

in coil and Euro thread for applications

requiring higher pour rates and/or

improved capacities. The systems incor-

porate continuous threaded coil rod,

continuous threaded Euro rod, flat wash-

ers, wing nuts and other assorted work-

ing parts. Coil products are available in

1/2" to 1-1/2" diameters. Euro products

are available in 15 mm or 20 mm.
